3.6.0
Added a Support container at the bottom of the Group Password Reset screen, matching the other Hack Repair Guy plugins: a link to buy Jim a cup of coffee and a link to GitHub Discussions for questions, ideas and help. No reset-engine, mail, or updater changes.
Validation: PHP syntax lint, shared PHPCS, existing PHP tests, package integrity and permissions.
3.5.5
3.5.5
Added standard 128px and 256px THRG heart icons so WordPress’s plugin update list displays the plugin branding instead of a generic placeholder. Group Password Reset also exposes these icons in local View Details metadata.
Packages retain enforced 0644 permissions. Verified with the package-permissions regression, shared PHPCS, existing PHP tests, package integrity, icon contents, and packaged PHP syntax.
3.5.4
3.5.4
Normalize every packaged file to 0644 permissions rather than inheriting local source modes. This prevents owner-only source permissions from blocking static assets or metadata on hosting with separate PHP/web-server users. Added an isolated regression using 0600 source files and a permission assertion in every build.
Validation: permissions regression, shared PHPCS, existing PHP tests, packaged PHP syntax, ZIP integrity and complete updater/source correspondence.
3.5.3
3.5.3
Updated THRG 2026 heart branding on the plugin interface and native View Details. Two gentle heartbeat cycles, then still; reduced-motion preferences and printing disable motion. Local optimized PNG/CSS assets; responsive details title.
Validation: shared PHPCS, existing PHP regressions, packaged PHP syntax and ZIP/source integrity passed. Zendogs browser review confirmed branding, native details at desktop/mobile widths, and reduced-motion support.

Group Password Reset 3.5.2
Ship the corrected packaged readme and current documentation for the full-width HTML administrator summary, plain-text alternative, domain/plugin subject tags, recipient controls, Send email workflow, latest-20-row results, and summary retention. Clarify mail acceptance versus delivery and validation boundaries.
No password-reset or email behavior changes from 3.5.1.
Validation: notification and updater-message regressions, shared PHPCS, PHP/JavaScript syntax, version metadata, package integrity and complete bundled updater dependencies. Existing functional/email evidence and limitations are recorded in PROJECT.md. External inbox delivery, full non-JavaScript reset submission and the full compatibility matrix are not newly exercised. Consider the Codex Security diff-review reminder; no automatic security scan was run.
The Hack Repair Guy's Group Password Reset 3.5.1
Group Password Reset 3.5.1
- Add a full-width branded HTML administrator summary email in the Site Inspector design family, including a personalized greeting, sender note, result table, notification mode, conditional failure guidance, dashboard button, and privacy footer.
- Include a plain-text alternative and preserve
[domain] [Group Password Reset]subject tags. - Match the administrator selector to Site Inspector: tinted panel, two-column recipient list that stacks on mobile, muted addresses, note placeholder, subject preview, and Send email button.
- Add All administrators selection with a partial-selection state. Recipients remain unselected until explicitly chosen.
Validation: shared PHPCS, notification regressions (including HTML escaping, multipart alternative, recipient personalization, and full-width checks), updater-message regressions, PHP/JavaScript syntax, and package integrity. Mailpit captured HTML and plain text from the actual notification function on Zendogs. Email layout was visually checked at desktop and 390px widths without horizontal overflow; recipient select-all, clear-all, and partial selection passed isolated checks.
Other email clients, external inbox delivery, and a full no-JavaScript form submission were not tested. No passwords were reset. Consider the Codex Security diff-review reminder in the project documentation; no security scan was run automatically.
The Hack Repair Guy's Group Password Reset 3.5.0
Group Password Reset 3.5.0
- Refresh the admin screen with the THRG mascot, Site Inspector styling, clearer account and confirmation sections, and result-count tiles.
- Add Notify administrators: select administrator recipients, add a note, preview the completed summary, and send a separate email to each recipient. Summary availability expires after 15 minutes.
- Identify emails with
[domain] [Group Password Reset]subject tags. Administrator summaries now use readable WordPress-style paragraphs, site details, counts, follow-up guidance, and a dashboard link. - Keep only the most recent 20 per-user result rows, removing older rows as processing continues. Summary counts cover the whole run.
- Display Done! Password reset complete. in bold and clarify mail acceptance versus delivery.
The reset engine retains explicit scope selection, exclusions, required confirmation, batches of 20, optional affected-user notifications, and the non-JavaScript fallback. Summary emails exclude passwords, reset links, and individual account details.
Validation: shared PHPCS, PHP/JavaScript syntax, notification regressions, updater-message regressions, result-row retention checks, ZIP integrity and bundled updater completeness. Zendogs browser checks covered desktop/mobile layout and simulated batched results. Real local SMTP capture through Mailpit verified administrator summary content and subject.
External inbox delivery, a full no-JavaScript submission, screen-reader testing, and the full declared WordPress/PHP compatibility matrix were not exercised. Local checks do not establish production security clearance. Consider the Codex Security diff-review reminder in the project documentation.
The Hack Repair Guy's Group Password Reset 3.4.3
Group Password Reset 3.4.3
Explain temporary update-check failures clearly. Confirmed GitHub rate limits show a retry time in the site timezone; technical diagnostics are collapsed. Successful results remain unchanged. The bundled updater is unmodified. Retry cooldown enforcement is deferred.
Validation: shared PHPCS, focused update-notice regression tests, PHP syntax, ZIP integrity and complete bundled updater checks.
The Hack Repair Guy's Group Password Reset 3.4.2
group-password-reset 3.4.2
Adds Other THRG Plugins to View Details with compact companion-plugin cards and project links. Content stays beside the native sidebar, and the dialog displays the installed version. The complete bundled updater is retained, including its readme parser dependencies.
Build with python3 scripts/build-release.py. ZIP and SHA-256 are written to dist/.
Validation: shared PHPCS, PHP syntax checks, packaged dependency loading, ZIP integrity, and Zendogs View Details output. Notices collector/hook tests and all six Site Inspector regression scripts passed.
Before publication: run the available Codex Security review on the release diff.
Updater asset name: group-password-reset.zip (required by existing installations). The versioned local ZIP contains the same files.
