The Hack Repair Guy's Group Password Reset 3.3.0

Bulk reset WordPress user passwords by role, exclude selected users, and optionally send secure reset links.

New

  • Checks this plugin's GitHub releases for updates, so the Plugins screen offers a one-click update (powered by the bundled Plugin Update Checker library, MIT).
  • The update details window is built from the plugin's own readme and works even when GitHub cannot be reached.

Changed

  • Now runs on PHP 7.4 and newer (was 8.3).
  • Requires WordPress 6.9.4 or newer, tested up to 7.1.3 (same baseline as Plugin Detective).
  • "View details" now appears once on the Plugins screen; the separate built-in popup was removed.
  • Removed unused popup CSS, JavaScript and helper code.
  • Refreshed the readme, README and maintainer docs.

Install

Download group-password-reset.zip below and upload it under Plugins > Add New Plugin. Do not use GitHub's "Source code" archives; they rename the plugin folder.
