hibiki is an immersion app for Android and Windows (macOS and iOS planned) that brings EPUB reading, video, and audiobooks together in one place. Look up and mine any word you hit while reading, watching, or listening — all in the same app, sharing one dictionary, stats, and review flow.

What it does

  • 📖 Import and read EPUB books, organized in a custom bookshelf
  • 🔎 Import Yomitan and other dictionary formats — use several at once, with deinflection, pitch accent, and frequency
  • 🎬 Built-in video player (mpv) — look up and mine words straight from the subtitles (streaming support under investigation)
  • 🎧 Audiobook read-along (Sasayaki) — subtitles auto-aligned to the book text, with sentence highlighting and auto-paging
  • 🃏 One-click Anki cards via AnkiDroid or AnkiConnect, built-in Lapis note type, audio and screenshot cropping
  • 📤 Look up from anywhere — Android: select text → tap hibiki; Windows: select text → global hotkey pops the dictionary at your cursor (experimental)
  • ☁️ Sync progress, stats and books to the cloud (Google Drive, Dropbox, WebDAV, and more) (experimental)
  • 🌐 17 interface languages

hibiki 是一款面向 Android 与 Windows（macOS、iOS 后续）的沉浸式学习 app，把 EPUB 阅读、视频、有声书整合到一处。读书、看视频、听有声书时遇到的任何生词，都能在同一个 app 里查词、制卡，共享同一套词典、统计和复习流程。
