This is a hotfix release that resolves a startup crash reported when the automatic background engine update check triggers on first launch.

🐛 Bug Fixes & Improvements

  • Fixed Startup libshiboken Crash: Resolved an issue where PySide6's garbage collection prematurely deleted the menu bar version badges during the initial background update check, causing RuntimeError: libshiboken: Internal C++ object already deleted.
  • Robust Object Lifecycle Management: Added defensive validation (shiboken6.isValid) and explicit widget parentage across all asynchronous update slots.
  • Clean Worker Teardown: Improved thread termination handling when closing the window immediately after launch.
