hello-retail-v1.40.1

Choose a tag to compare

Fixed

  • search-qa multi-domain runs now build each domain's config list, coverage checklist and report from that domain's own data. Before, a config key or a checklist verdict could be copied over from a sibling storefront.
  • search-qa now catches mobile search losing the first letters when a shopper types straight after tapping the field, and typing that goes to a hidden field after search is closed and reopened. Both checks run at phone and tablet width; the first is now a standing template issue checked on every run.

Plugin hello-retail version 1.40.1. Update: /plugin marketplace update helloretail then /reload-plugins.

What's Changed

  • fix(search-qa): build multi-domain artefacts per domain and catch mobile keystroke drops by @WaleedAtiq in #89

hello-retail-rest-api-v1.0.3

Choose a tag to compare

Fixed

  • pages-api no longer tells you to send firstLoad: false on a request that changes filters; it
stays true so the filter panel's counts refresh, and only pagination or re-sorting sends false.
  • pages-api examples now always request trackingCode, so tiles built from them can be
    click-tracked.
  • recommendations-api now points to the MCP tools for reading and changing a Managed box's
algorithm and filters, instead of saying this can only be done in the dashboard.
  • cart-tracking-api and conversion-tracking-api now agree that both endpoints store nothing for
an opted-out shopper, and the link between them works.

Plugin hello-retail-rest-api version 1.0.3. Update: /plugin marketplace update helloretail then /reload-plugins.

What's Changed

  • fix(rest-api): correct contradictions and stale claims in skill docs by @Mikkelmbk in #91

Added

  • search-qa and pages-qa now remove each applied filter one at a time (price filter plus two other filters) and fail when the wrong filter goes or the price filter stays behind; "clear all" working is no longer a pass.
  • search-qa and pages-qa now check that every filter dropdown's arrow flips while the dropdown is open, and that the price slider's min and max labels stay aligned with the slider at tablet width.
  • search-qa now checks every content-tab item (such as Inspiration) for a missing, broken or non-image file, on every domain.
  • search-qa, recom-qa and pages-qa now compare each tile's variants with the product page (same set and order, nothing hidden or swapped), the casing of the VAT, stock and SKU labels, and the CTA text alignment against the shop's own tile.
  • search-qa, recom-qa and pages-qa now compare the cart price with the tile price after adding a product, and report a different price basis as an observation for the CSM instead of passing it as the shop's native pattern.
  • search-qa, recom-qa and pages-qa now diff the same checks across a customer's sibling domains, check the favicon and page title on every page type visited, and test an issue named in a manual report or card comment two different ways before closing it as not reproduced.

Changed

  • tile-extractor takes every native measurement only from a grid the shop renders itself: tile, variations, labels, CSS, alignment, hover and the fidelity check. A recom box or a Hello Retail Pages grid is no longer read as native, and the skill asks the operator when every category page is Hello Retail-rendered.
  • tile-extractor needs three native category pages before concluding the shop never shows a label or another tile element.
  • search-qa and pages-qa now type the price filter's min and max in both orders (Tab between fields) and accept "not reproduced" only after both orders pass.

Fixed

  • search-developer counts what the trigger selector matches at desktop and mobile widths and scopes it when a theme reuses the input's id, so a hidden duplicate input is no longer bound as a trigger.

Plugin hello-retail version 1.40.0. Update: /plugin marketplace update helloretail then /reload-plugins.

Changed

  • search-developer checks the customer's header for a search input before it creates any config; when there is none and embedded was requested, it asks whether to go for overlay (recommended) or embedded anyway, instead of creating an embedded config that has nothing to attach to.
  • search-developer centers the initial-content heading and its subtitle, and checks on the rendered overlay that the text is centered in the panel.
  • search-developer keeps the overlay's search bar at the default width when it matches the site header, instead of stretching it across the whole header.
  • tile-extractor finds a colour-swatch strip that sits beside the product link as a row of thumbnail images, and search-developer documents how to build it from the feed's swatch fields with the current colour marked and scroll arrows wired.

Plugin hello-retail version 1.39.0. Update: /plugin marketplace update helloretail then /reload-plugins.

What's Changed

  • feat(search-developer): check the header for a search input before creating an embedded config, and desktop overlay fixes by @hamzaanwardev in #87

Added

  • feed-setup reads the platform plugin's info endpoint before mapping a Magento 2, WooCommerce or PrestaShop feed. On PrestaShop it adds country_id when the shop's default country would put the wrong VAT on prices, and lang_id to choose the language.
  • support-debugging checks the plugin version through the same info endpoint first on feed and product-data tickets for those platforms.
  • The wiki has a cross-platform page on the plugin info endpoints and a new PrestaShop page. The WooCommerce page now documents the info endpoint and extraAttributes.

Fixed

  • feed-setup no longer gives WooCommerce feeds the page parameter paged from 1. The plugin has never had that parameter, so those feeds stopped after the first page and imported only 200 products. It pages with page from 0.
  • feed-migration lists WooCommerce in its pagination defaults and checks a PrestaShop feed's default country before porting prices.

Plugin hello-retail version 1.38.0. Update: /plugin marketplace update helloretail then /reload-plugins.

What's Changed

  • feat(wiki): document plugin info endpoints for feed setup and support by @hugokrantz in #86

Added

  • hello-retail-knowledge, search-developer, recom-developer and pages-developer now find a Liquid cheat sheet covering Hello Retail's custom Liquid filters. To put a query parameter on product links, use setUrlParam rather than hand-built append logic.
  • The same cheat sheet gives the quote rule for Liquid inside HTML attributes: filter arguments take single quotes inside a double-quoted href.

Plugin hello-retail version 1.37.0. Update: /plugin marketplace update helloretail then /reload-plugins.

What's Changed

  • feat(wiki): add Liquid cheat sheet with HR custom filters by @hugokrantz in #85

Added

  • tile-extractor now checks whether the tile's styling changes by page type, either through theme rules keyed on the product page or through stylesheets the category page loads and other pages do not. It reports the category-page values for the shell to restate.
  • search-developer and pages-developer offer to reuse the tile of a finished recommendation design when one exists, with a new survey of the category page as the default. tile-extractor confirms it still matches the category tile, and falls back to a full extraction when it does not.

Changed

  • search-developer now opens the search from the homepage, category page, product page and cart after the push, and requires the tile's height, image and badge positions to match on all four.
  • search-developer compares search texts that already look translated with the QA team's translation sheet. It flags every mismatch in the hand-off instead of trusting the existing value.

Fixed

  • tile-extractor and search-qa no longer take a tile from one of Hello Retail's own recommendation sliders as the shop's native tile. Those tiles carry the shop's classes and passed the old check.

Plugin hello-retail version 1.36.0. Update: /plugin marketplace update helloretail then /reload-plugins.

What's Changed

  • feat: page-type tile checks, recom tile reuse, Hello Retail tile guard, translation flag by @abdullahaslam2223 in #82

Fixed

  • newsletter-developer keeps the tile's image and title heights computed from the canvas and the dashboard fields, so changing margin, lines of text or height in the dashboard re-flows the tile instead of overlapping text. It now also renders once with a changed field to prove it.
  • newsletter-developer avoids a double border: a border inside the tile no longer sits next to the frame the dashboard and campaign already draw around it.
  • newsletter-developer removes the size adjustments that belonged to an element it drops, so a removed border no longer leaves the tile off-centre.

Plugin hello-retail version 1.35.1. Update: /plugin marketplace update helloretail then /reload-plugins.

What's Changed

  • fix(newsletter-developer): keep layout derived, avoid double border, clean up removed-element maths by @abdullahaslam2223 in #83

Changed

  • search-developer now looks up every visible string in translations.json before translating it itself — filter titles, sort labels, content-feed texts and the initial-content title, not only the header texts — and uses the file's wording exactly. The diff before the push now includes a translation table showing where each string came from.
  • search-developer asks how the initial products grid should look, recommending the shop's own grid (an extra tile per row where the category page has a filter sidebar), and widens the initial panel when the tiles don't fit.
  • search-developer points out when filter A→Z sorting copied from the other search config also sorts the category and number filters, and asks whether to narrow it.

Fixed

  • search-developer keeps the header and its menus above the embedded search on shops whose page is wrapped by a menu plugin, and keeps page badges from showing through the panel.
  • search-developer moves the embedded search's close button clear of a theme search bar that overlaps it, and hides the skip link that could show as a black bar over the header.

Plugin hello-retail version 1.35.0. Update: /plugin marketplace update helloretail then /reload-plugins.

What's Changed

  • feat(search-developer): translations from the file first, initial grid question, embedded open-state fixes by @WaleedAtiq in #81

Added

  • search-developer has a recipe for filters on one side and the close button on the other side of the mobile search input, and says how it combines with a matched header and a removed logo. It is marked derived until a build renders it.

Changed

  • search-developer matches the mobile overlay header with selectors, because the mobile design has none of the desktop header tokens, and resets the side margin that left strips of the panel colour beside a coloured header.

Fixed

  • search-developer no longer lets a non-wrapping tile title stretch the grid columns past the screen on mobile or make them uneven on desktop, and its rendered checks now test for overflow at 375px.

Plugin hello-retail version 1.34.0. Update: /plugin marketplace update helloretail then /reload-plugins.

What's Changed

  • feat(search-developer): mobile header matching, grid overflow guard and ML5c recipe by @hamzaanwardev in #84
