  • A round tube or ring has an outer diameter, and outer, inner and wall follow one another (forum): The tube had a width, a length and an inner diameter but no outer diameter, and typing the inner diameter first clamped it to the width minus 1, which left the wall at its thinnest, so setting the width afterwards ended 0.5 mm off. A round tube or ring now shows Outer diameter, Inner diameter and Wall thickness, and any two give the third whichever you type first: the outer diameter keeps the bore, the inner diameter keeps the outer one, and a bore wider than the tube makes the outer diameter grow by the wall. The two sides Length and Width, and the old rule that the wall stays, only remain for a tube that is oval. The inner and outer diameter can be typed beyond their sliders. Reported by @Jenserer in the forum.
  • Arabic (العربية): The whole interface and the 16 chapters of the guide are in Arabic, with the language list and the automatic choice for a browser set to Arabic. It is not marked complete: the layout is not mirrored for right-to-left yet, the headings of the guide carry their English name in brackets so that the links to them keep working, and a second Arabic speaker has not read it yet. Made by @sevagjb (#435); wrong words are fixed with a small pull request.
  • Italian (Italiano): The interface is in Italian (97 % of the sentences), with the language list and the automatic choice for a browser set to Italian. It is not marked complete: the 80 sentences added since 1.77.0 show in English until their Italian follows, and the guide chapters are still English. Made by @maxciava (#395); wrong words are fixed with a small pull request.
  • A text made smaller takes its box with it (#432): The letters of a straight text fit their box in one scale, so a box made much lower than the line needs stayed as wide as before, and the measures and handles stood far from the small letters, out of reach when zoomed in. When a change of the box makes the letters smaller, the box now becomes the one the letters need at that size; a box made larger, a stretched text and a curved text are left as they were. Reported by @MartinSpanjaard on GitHub.
  • Copying a large imported model no longer freezes the page (#431): A copy was also written through a hidden text field and the browser's copy command, and selecting a text of tens of megabytes in a field takes seconds, and more the larger it is: a mesh of 45,000 triangles held the page for 4 s, one of 245,000 for 23 s, one of 720,000 for minutes, so the browser had to be closed. The copy is now written through the clipboard API alone when it is larger than a megabyte (the hidden field stays for small copies and for pages without the API); the same copies now take 0.2 s, 0.9 s and 2.5 s, and pasting them is as fast as before. Reported by @Cranborlie on GitHub.
  • More French names corrected (#406): The thread was called "Sujet" (a subject) and the nut "Noix" (a walnut); they are "Filetage" and "Écrou" now, on the shape tile, in the properties and in the guide, which also called a threaded rod "tige congéée". The label "Type" of the thread properties read "Tapez" (the command to type), the wedge is "Prisme triangulaire" instead of "Coin", the torus "Anneau", "Moleter" is "Moletage", "Ellipses" is "Ellipse" and "Coeur" is "Cœur". Suggested by @jeromefc50.
  • Interactive Help: the pointer says where there is no help (#424): Over a place the help has nothing about, such as the empty parts of the ribbon or the foot of the page, the pointer in the help mode is the "not allowed" sign instead of the question mark, so no click is wasted there; a click still opens the notice. Suggested by @prmod3d.
  • The selection frame can take only what it encloses (#430): A frame dragged on the empty workplane selects every body it touches, whichever way it is dragged, which makes it hard to pick one part out of a cluster. A new switch in the settings (area Appearance), The direction of the frame decides, lets the direction decide as in SketchUp and CAD programs: a frame dragged from left to right takes only the bodies that lie completely inside it, one dragged from right to left everything it touches, and its line is dashed. It is off by default, so the frame works as before. Suggested by @foofoodog on GitHub.
