Herbie 2.3 features a redesigned core, built for higher-quality output, more robustness, and greater scalability. New algorithms based on an SSA-like "batch" data structure and a new, Rust-based Rival 3 engine allow Herbie to handle programs with hundreds of operators. At the same time, Herbie 2.3 adds new backend features like multiple return values using arrays, platforms for Python and Julia, and better support for the still-experimental egglog backend.
