galleRE 1.2 — macOS 🍎
Manage listings by client, navigate nested photo folders, switch views, and get notified about updates automatically.
New
- Clients sidebar — point galleRE at the folder that holds your listing-client folders and browse them in a sidebar. Click a client to load its photos.
- Archive & restore clients — right-click (or swipe) a client to move its folder into an Archive folder; restore anytime. You can now choose your own archive folder if you already have one.
- Navigate subfolders — clients whose photos live in a
Photos/or dated subfolder are now fully navigable, with folder cards and a breadcrumb bar. - Grid or list view — a toolbar toggle switches the photo area between the thumbnail grid and a compact list. Your choice is remembered.
- In-app update notifier — galleRE now tells you when a new version is available, with a one-click Download. (That's how you'll hear about the next update.)
- Clients & archive settings are also in the main Settings panel.
Improved
- Faster folder navigation — photo metadata now loads off the main thread, so switching clients and drilling into folders is snappy.
Install
- Download galleRE.dmg below and open it.
- Drag galleRE onto the Applications folder.
- Open Applications and double-click galleRE; when macOS says it can't verify the developer, click Done. Then open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down, and click Open Anyway. (One-time; macOS Sequoia removed the old right-click bypass.)
Universal build — runs natively on Apple Silicon and Intel. Requires macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later.
