ADHD Timer v2.0
Work Days
The schedule used to be one time window applied to all seven days. Now there is a Work Days submenu in the menu bar with a tick for each day, and the week starts on Monday.
On a day you untick, the app goes quiet: no nudges, no automatic breaks, nothing counted towards adherence, and a break you start by hand is refused. The menu bar reads Day off and the dashboard header names the next day you actually work.
An overnight shift belongs to the day it started, so a Friday 4 PM to 5 AM shift still counts as Friday even though it finishes on Saturday morning. Unticking Saturday does not cut it short.
Monday starts the week
The Work Days list and the dashboard calendar both begin on Monday, with Sunday at the end.
Harder to memorise the alarm
The typing challenge that stops the alarm used to draw from 12 sentences and 4 paragraphs, which is few enough to learn by heart. The pools are now 88 sentences and 8 paragraphs.
Upgrading
Your settings and history are in ~/Library/Application Support/ADHD Timer/ and are untouched by replacing the app. All seven days start ticked, so nothing changes until you untick one.
Includes everything from the unreleased 1.8 and 1.9 builds.
ADHD Timer v1.7
Dashboard restyled as a translucent widget card: three heat-coloured rings, header with the shift line under the app name, gear replaces the full-width toggle bar. Same width and ring spacing as a standard macOS widget card.
ADHD Timer v1
First public release.
Download ADHD-Timer-v1.zip below, unzip it, and drag ADHD Timer.app into your Applications folder.
The first launch is blocked because the app is not signed with a paid Apple developer certificate. To allow it: System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to the bottom, click Open Anyway. One time only.
Then add it under System Settings → General → Login Items so it starts on its own.
Runs on Intel and Apple Silicon. No account, no server — everything stays in ~/Library/Application Support/ADHD Timer/.
