Important

Breaking changes

  • The deprecated APIs are removed (#286): GeneratedContentConversionError (use GeneratedContentError), LlamaLanguageModel's legacy initializer and its nine matching properties, and GeminiLanguageModel's legacy initializer, thinking and serverTools properties, and Thinking and ServerTool typealiases. Use GenerationOptions[custom:] instead.
  • To match Foundation Models, a @Generable type's generated content now leaves out optional properties whose value is nil, instead of writing null. Pass representNilExplicitlyInGeneratedContent: true to @Generable to keep the null values (#288).
  • Transcript.Entry has a new reasoning case, so an exhaustive switch over transcript entries needs to handle it (#290).
