What's Changed

The main changes are indexing on the GPU in #225 and the host binding in #239.

  • On macOS 15 or later, funes index embeds on the GPU through Metal, and falls back to the CPU where no GPU starts. Recall queries stay on the CPU.
  • funes bind <memory> binds this host to a memory: every installed agent recalls from it and publishes to it. funes bind local unbinds.
  • funes add <agent> <memory> binds the host first. A bare funes add <agent> installs on the host's memory.
  • A read naming no memory, on the CLI or in a tool call, reads the bound memory with this host's unpushed turns. A read naming a memory reads it as it stands, and its → get hints repeat the name.

Upgrading from 1.8.x

No reindex. funes update binds the host to the memory your agents were bound to, when they all had the same one. Otherwise it names them, and funes bind <memory> picks one.
