iVault 1.2.1
iVault opens straight into the app: the lock screen is now optional and off by default.
New
- Optional app lock with a password of your own: Settings → General → Privacy. When it is on, iVault asks for the password each time it opens and on Ctrl+L. Only a salted hash of the password is kept on your computer.
Fixed
- iVault no longer opens on a lock screen with a built-in username and password that the app never told you. A fresh install now goes straight to setup.
- Forgot your lock password? “Forgot password?” on the lock screen turns the lock off, so you are never shut out of your own app.
Good to know
- The lock hides the window only. It does not encrypt your library, settings or videos.
Download: iVault_1.2.1_x64-setup.exe for most PCs, iVault_1.2.1_arm64-setup.exe for Snapdragon (Arm64) PCs. Check files against SHA256SUMS.txt.
