NexDeal ("NexDeal", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how NexDeal collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the NexDeal mobile application and related services. Information We Collect 1.1 Account Information When you create a NexDeal account, we may collect: Email address Password, which is securely handled by our authentication provider Display name Phone number City or location information that you choose to provide Email verification may be required to activate your account. 1.2 Profile Information You may provide additional information for your NexDeal profile, including: Display name Phone number City Profile/avatar information Whether you choose to display your phone number to other users You control the information you provide through your profile. 1.3 Listing Information When you create a listing, we may collect: Product name Product category Product description Asking price Product condition Product images Listing type, such as Buy Now, Make Offer, or Auction Other information you voluntarily provide about the product 1.4 Communications If NexDeal provides messaging or communication features, we may collect and store messages and related information necessary to provide those features. 1.5 Device and Technical Information We may automatically receive limited technical information when you use the app, such as: Device type Operating system and version App version Basic diagnostic information Crash and performance information This information may be used to maintain security, troubleshoot problems, and improve the application.

How We Use Your Information We use collected information to: Create and manage your NexDeal account Authenticate users Verify email addresses Create and display marketplace listings Connect buyers and sellers Facilitate communication between users Provide search and marketplace functionality Improve and maintain NexDeal Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, spam, and unauthorized activity Protect the security of our users and services Respond to support requests Comply with applicable legal obligations We do not sell your personal information.
3. Information Visible to Other Users NexDeal is a marketplace, so certain information may be visible to other users. Depending on your settings and the features you use, this may include: Display name City Listing information Product images Seller information Phone number, if you choose to make it visible Your listings may be publicly visible to other NexDeal users or visitors where the service permits. We recommend that you do not include sensitive personal information in listing descriptions, images, or public profile information.
4. Phone Number Privacy Your phone number may be collected to facilitate communication between buyers and sellers. Where NexDeal provides a phone visibility setting, you can choose whether your phone number is displayed to other users. You should understand that if you choose to display your phone number, other users may be able to contact you directly outside NexDeal.
5. Images and Uploaded Content When you upload product images or other content to NexDeal, you grant NexDeal permission to store and display that content as necessary to provide the marketplace service. You should not upload: Government identification documents Passwords Financial information Other sensitive personal information unless specifically requested by NexDeal for a feature that requires it.
6. Third-Party Services NexDeal may use third-party service providers to operate and improve the application. These services may include providers for: Authentication Database hosting Cloud storage Push notifications Application analytics Crash reporting Infrastructure and security These providers may process information on our behalf and are expected to handle information according to their applicable policies and contractual obligations. NexDeal's current infrastructure may include Supabase for authentication, database, and storage services and Firebase services for certain Android infrastructure features.
7. Data Storage and Security We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no internet-based service can guarantee complete security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and should notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.
8. Marketplace Transactions NexDeal's initial marketplace service may allow buyers and sellers to arrange transactions directly with one another. NexDeal does not currently process or hold payments for these transactions unless explicitly stated otherwise within the application. Users are responsible for exercising appropriate caution when communicating with or transacting with other users. NexDeal does not guarantee the authenticity, quality, condition, ownership, or legality of products listed by users unless a particular listing or service is explicitly identified as verified by NexDeal.
9. Payments If paid features are introduced, such as seller subscriptions, listing boosts, advertisements, or other services, payment processing may be handled by third-party payment providers. Payment information may be processed directly by those providers and may be subject to their respective privacy policies and terms. NexDeal does not need to store your full payment card details when payments are processed through a third-party payment provider.
10. Data Retention We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to: Provide our services Maintain your account Maintain marketplace listings Comply with legal obligations Resolve disputes Prevent fraud and abuse Enforce our agreements When information is no longer required, we may delete or anonymize it, subject to applicable legal and operational requirements.
11. Account and Data Deletion You may request deletion of your NexDeal account and associated personal information. 12. Children's Privacy NexDeal is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to NexDeal, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.
