Space → Particles binding transition under-specified #46

Description

@jonassiebler

Description

Particles are described as bound configurations of degrees of freedom under Strong Binding and Charge (EM). The mechanical transition from free relative positions in Space to bound "dots" is only sketched in the Particles of Identity blog.

Missing:

  • What operators turn free DoF into stable bound structure?
  • Role of Strong Binding (short-range coherence of the Stem) vs Electromagnetic Charge (polarity, attraction/repulsion) in the first binding step.
  • Whether binding is instantaneous in the model or a process along Time.

Impact

Without a clear binding transition, Particles remain a narrative layer rather than an engineering primitive. Later Identity Chemistry (multi-force composition) cannot attach cleanly.

Mitigation / path forward

  1. Formalize the binding step as an explicit transition Space → Particles (constraints, energy, stability conditions — even if inspirational).
  2. Align language with Strong Binding + Charge as already discussed in energetic extensions.
  3. Optionally extend the Particles blog or add a short Core Concept note once the transition is crisp.
