Choose a tag to compare

@igrbible igrbible released this 19 Oct 04:33

The last step before 2.0.0, tagged v2.0.0-rc9 so a studio already installed offers it in Engine → Updates: the Refiner as a canvas with pipelines, the DAW as a preview, steps of your own, eight stems, each LoRA's wave through the song, Content Credentials on every download (HERESY 1446–1566).

The Refiner

  • A canvas of nodes: every step a node, wired the way the sound goes; a click opens its panel, a right-click runs the chain up to it or bypasses it; clones of a step beside it; profiles keep the steps' settings and the nodes' places by name; the list stays a click away.
  • Pipelines: the chain as steps in their own order, seven shipped (Quick polish, Song: stems and remaster, Song: my DAW mix, Song: full air, Warm tape, Spoken word, Look only) and a plugin's own; on the workspace's takes or the Librarian's checked ones, one after another.
  • New steps: Whole lead (the lead voice brought back from Backing Vocals where the split lost it), Voice upscale (UniverSR on the voice stems), Before and after (any file measured against what it was made from), Match to a reference, the Digital Gateway (tape, console, tube, transformer or vinyl in numbers).
  • Eight stems by their proper names: Lead Vocal, Backing Vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano, winds and the rest.
  • Steps of your own: a plugin in user/plugins/ adds steps with panels drawn from their fields, on a set of stems and on the GPU too (docs/PLUGINS.md).
  • The take's tree in the chain's order with a player per sound, marks on every branch, a trash for branches, equal loudness in Compare.

The DAW (a preview)

  • The take's stems on lanes, Bitwig's way: a ruler with a loop, zoom, the song's sections, a meter on every lane, a version per lane picked by a click.
  • A console under the lanes: EQ, compressor, sends to a room and a delay, width, pan, polarity, fader; sidechain, VCA groups, audio buses; the master's EQ, compressor and lookahead limiter, live as rendered; Mono and Dim.
  • Automation of volume, pan, width and both sends; fades on a cut; moving and copying a stretch along a lane.
  • Inserts through the Digital Gateway or a plugin's step; Mix renders it all on Forge, the mixes kept by name and following you to any browser.

The Creator

  • Each LoRA's wave through the song (flat, an arch or drawn by hand) and one budget for the adapters that share their layers, measured; the voice and genre sliders gone after measuring them.
  • The IRA merge (Instrumental and Real Audio folded into YuE2-3B), named in the model selectors with its adapters.
  • Denoising steps on a slider, Also render with (a take again by other solvers from its own codes), the song's length by its mode (music up to 10:00, speech up to 15:00).
  • The Creator's versions: every Generate's words kept under its title, apart from the takes.

The Librarian, the Trainer and the page

  • Content Credentials (C2PA) on every download: made by AI in Ruach Studio, refined by a person when the Refiner made it, your name if you give it; the sound untouched.
  • The Librarian's guards before a mass trash or move; imports in their own workspace.
  • The trainer's early stop on held-out tracks, the best epoch named; voice runs at rank 32.
  • The Engine and the guide over the room, in tabs; every job's progress above the player; new pictures of every room in the guide.

Install / update

  • New: INSTALL.md, or Pinokio on Linux: download it from https://github.com/igrbible/Ruach_Studio and press Install.
  • From rc8: Engine → Updates in the page, or Pinokio's Update. The models you have stay.

Known limits

  • The DAW is a preview: its own score editor comes later.
  • The Artist is an early preview.
  • tools/test-real.sh, the optional real-server test, predates the workspaces and is out of date here; 2.0.0 renews it.

Pre-release

Choose a tag to compare

@igrbible igrbible released this 15 Oct 06:36

The eighth release candidate: every weight from one repo, the Artist on Qwen-Image alone with Outpaint, who may open the studio, and the studio on port 7777 (HERESY 1426–1445).

Models

  • Every weight from one repo: goldhub/Ruach_Studio_Models_v2 is the studio's own disk, file for file: YuE2's GGUFs, the decoders and the sliders converted once, Whisper, UniverSR, the style listener, the Artist's painters and the adapters their authors let be shared, and the LoRA Trainer's base (Comfy-Org's YuE2, MERT-v2-FullSong, the realaudio tokenizer head). The install takes it all from there at one pin; only the stems' models, the Kit's library of adapters and Qwen2.5-Omni-7B whole still come from their authors.
  • Known by its content: a file renamed, moved into a folder of your own or with its header rewritten is still here, by its SHA-256 or its tensors' (MANIFEST.tsv); what you have is never fetched again.

The Artist

  • Krea 2 is out: Qwen-Image paints every picture, the brushes in one list (Base weights, Fine-tune).
  • Qwen-Image 2.1's fp8 fine-tunes in artwork/Qwen-Image-2.1/checkpoints/ become brushes; Turbo paints in 4 steps; Outpaint… on the stage paints a picture's edges on into a wider, taller or square canvas, the picture kept pixel for pixel (Turbo's and Outpaint's adapters from their authors on Civitai).
  • A picture's note; covers that do not lie; the stage as icons; ten adapters shared by their authors.

The Creator and the page

  • No take outside a workspace that takes it: a 💎 set or a frozen one never does, the only open one comes into hand by itself, and a new install gets «My songs».
  • The lyrics' arc checked (verses numbered, a cycle in order); voices among the lyrics' tags; letters other than Latin in the Style named; ✦ Suggest reads the lyrics whole.
  • Fonts for the rooms, the section marks and the buttons, each role's size against the text's; Raleway, Michroma and Liberation Mono by default.
  • The Creator's long lists in the studio's dialog; a folded takes list opened over the take by the mouse; ▶ Play this song in the take's row.

Engine

  • Security: who may open the studio (this computer only, private networks, or the networks you list), asked at the first start.
  • Port 7777 (YUE2CPP_PORT picks another).

Install / update

  • New: INSTALL.md, or Pinokio on Linux: download it from https://github.com/igrbible/Ruach_Studio and press Install.
  • From rc7: Engine → Updates in the page, or Pinokio's Update. The studio opens on port 7777 now: a bookmark to 41867 needs the new number. The models you have stay.

Choose a tag to compare

@igrbible igrbible released this 14 Oct 03:53

The seventh release candidate: songs edited as the model writes them, compare with a take's namesakes, the studio's own LoRA Trainer made whole, covers by the cards on Qwen-Image 2512 (HERESY 1392–1425).

The Creator

  • Replace a section: a right click on a section of the player's wave, its words changed as you will, sung anew between the rests the ear finds; the rest of the take is kept to the sample, so the seam goes unheard. Several sections in one go; the versions named by section and stretch (Chorus 1:02–1:25 anew A) and in Takes as they land.
  • Two guidances: the style's pull and the lyrics' hold, each its own scale, in tenths.
  • Free tempo: the score's tempo out before the music, on by the Style's own words.
  • Compare: a take with its namesakes, or two to four checked, in one player from the same second: 1200 px, the playing version's wave as the seek bar, thumbs, star and «Hide disliked».

The LoRA Trainer

  • Epochs instead of steps; score mode (Full, Melody: each song's sheet transcribed once and learned with it); the separation of vocals and music (BS-Roformer once a set, three terms in the loss). AI-Toolkit is no longer needed by the studio.

The Artist and the Refiner

  • Covers by the cards: Qwen-Image 2512 where a card holds it whole (Q6 from 20 GB, Q4 from 16 GB; its text encoder leaves the card before the painter comes), else Krea 2 Muse. A cover copied to a take's namesakes from its menu.
  • Colour in the Refiner: vinyl (surface, fine crackle, a click now and then, the player's rumble), tape or room, a layer under the song before the loudness.
  • The Artist in Depth in all twelve languages.
  • Engine: Compute has the VAE beside the model; a card's VRAM limit sets the memory knobs (the preset is gone); the machine scan suggests Qwen-Image 2512 where it fits.

Install / update

  • New: INSTALL.md, or Pinokio on Linux: download it from https://github.com/igrbible/Ruach_Studio and press Install.
  • From rc6: Engine → Updates in the page, or Pinokio's Update. The Qwen painters come from Engine → Models and LoRAs.

@igrbible igrbible released this 12 Oct 23:05

The sixth release candidate: the Artist room nearly closed, five more languages with the guide in all twelve, SUNO's quick ideas, and the LoRA Trainer handed to you for reports (HERESY 1169, patches 1347–1391). Everything, room by room: CHANGELOG.md. The whole Artist in depth: docs/ARTIST.md.

The Artist

  • Regions: up to three parts of the frame, each with words of its own (a half, a third, a quarter, the middle), blended into one scene as Latent Couple does: a fox on the left and an owl on the right, where one prompt painted two of the same.
  • A reference, used three ways: painted from (as before), edited by the prompt's words (the scene kept, what the words say changed), or for its style alone (the prompt's own scene in the picture's technique, brushwork, palette and light), the last two by Qwen-Image 2.1.
  • A second pass at ×1.5 or ×2, as a ComfyUI hires workflow paints it: the picture brought up by nearest and painted over by its own painter, prompt and seed; extra noise (InjectLatentNoise) under a reference and in the second pass.
  • Qwen-Image 2.1 on a 16 GB card: its encoder and transformer stream from RAM when they do not fit (4.1 GB at the peak from words, 7.9 editing), and a card's VRAM limit now counts as its ceiling.
  • Adapters: their strength over the steps (keyframes), fetched from Civitai with your own key, eight in the list and four in a run; a painter kept between runs (no reloading), a run's pictures on several cards at once, upscale in passes with TTA, protected pictures.

Everywhere

  • Five more languages: French, Portuguese, German, Japanese and Chinese, the page whole and the guide (F1) in all twelve; the visiting card in twelve too.
  • SUNO's quick ideas: Crop and Remove a section on the score's bar lines, Adjust speed with the tempo written into the score, Tighten these lyrics and style suggestions, the wave's sections on the music's own changes.
  • The wave's scope: the pointer resting on the full player's wave brings up the take's whole spectrogram, in time with it: the sections, the brightness and loudness, the spectrum and note under the pointer.
  • The Writer says an empty answer or a failure of the model over the page, and brings the answer to the top; «Max tokens» at 32K.
  • The LoRA Trainer, held at 90 %: it trains well on our own songs and voices, and your sets are not ours. Tell us how it went: a trainer report. Issue templates for every room too.

Install / update

  • New: INSTALL.md, or Pinokio on Linux: download it from https://github.com/igrbible/Ruach_Studio and press Install. The tarball below is the tagged tree as it is (sha256sum -c checks it).
  • From rc5: Engine → Updates in the page, or Pinokio's Update. Qwen-Image 2.1 and the Qwen painters come from Engine → Models and LoRAs.

The fifth release candidate: the Artist room grown nearly whole, the page in all six languages, and a studio that reads its machine at its first start (HERESY 1169, patches 1291–1346). Everything, room by room: CHANGELOG.md.

The Artist

  • The canvas, as InvokeAI's: Canvas… lays your reference picture in each shape's frame (1:1, 16:9, 9:16), to move and scale by hand or by numbers; a frame the picture covers is painted from it, the part it leaves bare is painted around it, and the inpaint mask is painted over it on the same board.
  • A reference picture to paint from (image to image), a mask on it (inpaint, with grow, edge, soft and grain), painting around it (outpaint) without a seam, two pictures compared under a divider.
  • LoRA adapters, up to four, each at its strength, picked from a library of the painter's family with their pictures and trigger words; a right click mutes one and keeps it in the list.
  • Qwen-Image 2512 and 2.1 as painters beside Krea 2 Muse, Lightning as a switch, and the samplers and schedules we paint with (ER-SDE, RES 2s and 3s, Heun++, the exponential Heun; Beta 57, KL optimal, SGM uniform, Bong tangent).
  • A painter that does not fit the card streams from RAM: four adapters on a 24 GB card no longer refuse the run; the blocks that fit stay on the card, the rest come as they are needed, the picture the same bit for bit.
  • Upscale to 2K or 4K with any upscaler in artwork/upscalers/, two runs at a time, the trash in the room and Delete for good, a picture's menu on a right click.
  • The room fits the window: from 920 px of height it stands still and its columns scroll on their own; the picture fills the stage, its data and prompt show beside it while the pointer is on it, the run's progress lies over it.

Everywhere

  • The page in all six languages, wall to wall: Russian, Ukrainian, Belarusian, Greek, Spanish and Italian cover every room, dialog, toast and menu, and the cheat-sheet's descriptions.
  • The wave's sections are the lyrics' own tags, each where Whisper hears its first line.
  • A new studio reads its machine at its first start and offers what suits it; a VRAM limit for each card; one card for everything (the engine lets its models go when a job needs the card).
  • The server log on either side, the Artist's own log as a view of it, and a window of its own with the cards live beside the log.
  • Trash (Art) in the Librarian; the LoRA Trainer's runs go on to more epochs from their last save.

Install / update

  • New: INSTALL.md, or Pinokio on Linux: download it from https://github.com/igrbible/Ruach_Studio and press Install.
  • From rc4: Engine → Updates in the page, or Pinokio's Update. The Artist's painters come from Engine → Models and LoRAs (Krea 2 Muse from goldhub/Ruach_Studio_Models_v2, the Qwen painters from their makers).

@igrbible igrbible released this 10 Oct 06:03

The fourth release candidate, cut as a whole: everything the studio does today, the Artist room as it stands among it, and what reproducing the install under Pinokio on Ubuntu 24.04 showed, made whole (HERESY 1169, patches 1268–1290). Everything, room by room: CHANGELOG.md.

New

  • The models converted once: the legacy and blend decoders and the sixteen voice and genre sliders come as GGUF from goldhub/Ruach_Studio_Models_v2 at a pinned revision, byte for byte what a conversion of their sources makes: nothing is converted on your machine, no checkpoints are fetched, and checkpoints/ leaves the repository.
  • Engine → Models and LoRAs: what the install brings, part by part, here or not; a part not whole fetched again from the studio, a download cut short going on where it stopped; another backbone (BF16 beside Q8_0), the style listener, the Artist's painter and the trainer's base, each asked first with its size.
  • Engine → Folders: the songs, the trash, the Artist's pictures and the Writer's documents moved to any disk from the page, copied and checked file by file, the old copy kept until you remove it.
  • Memory within N GB: Auto for the whole card, or within 14 of 16 GB, where a laptop's desktop and browser keep their share.
  • Find and replace in the lyrics and the style (F4 or Ctrl+H, Aa for the case), the lyrics as a .txt named by the Title, a second tag on a line after «[», ♂ and ♀ in the Style's head.
  • The player: the take's menu on its wave, the song's sections drawn on the wave from its score, and a sound when a run ends (🔔).

Better

  • The install, made whole after the first install through Pinokio: a download that fails says why and is tried again; an unfinished one goes on; the LoRAs the 💎 sets were made with come with the install.
  • The Artist in three columns (the prompt, the picture developing with its run's data, the gallery in even tiles), Draw is Stop while it runs. Still an early preview: a reference picture, a canvas, LoRAs and an upscale come later.
  • Nothing from the internet in the page: abcjs and ten font families (Raleway, Roboto and Lato among them) served by the studio itself.
  • Keys that keep your work: Ctrl+S and Ctrl+Shift+S save everything, F5 asks only after typing, Ctrl+N is New song (in Pinokio's window), Alt+E lifts the lyrics, Shift+Tab goes into them.
  • Engine → Updates shows Update only when there is something new; paragraphs with air in tips, the guide and the cheat-sheets; the veil's words larger and its loading line at the foot.

Install / update

  • New: INSTALL.md, or Pinokio on Linux: download it from https://github.com/igrbible/Ruach_Studio and press Install.
  • From rc3: Engine → Updates in the page, or Pinokio's Update; then Install again (or Engine → Models and LoRAs → Fetch what is missing) brings the decoders and sliders from the new repository where they are not here yet. The checkpoints rc3 fetched to make them (checkpoints/YuE2-Vae-legacy, checkpoints/YuE2-Vae-merge-0.666, checkpoints/particle-sliders, 1.3 GB) are not needed any more: delete them when you like.

The third release candidate: the Artist room in an early preview, Pinokio on Linux, and what two days of the rooms' audit asked for (HERESY 1169, patches 1199–1267). Everything, room by room: CHANGELOG.md.

New

  • The Artist room (early preview): pictures for your songs from a prompt of your own, in 1:1, 16:9 and 9:16 from one seed, painted by Krea 2 Muse; the picture develops before your eyes step by step, every run stays in a gallery (filters, sizes, ★), and a square one becomes a take's cover.
  • Pinokio on Linux: Install, Start, Open the studio, More models, Update and Reset from Pinokio's menu, with Pinokio's own CUDA toolkit 12.8 where the machine has none; the work is done by bash scripts that run the same from a terminal (INSTALL.md › With Pinokio). Asked for in #1.
  • The cards live, as btop draws them: each card's load and memory second by second, under it in Engine → GPUs and beside the server log (which grows wider for them), each headed by its role, the studio's card framed.
  • End at…: a take ending where you choose, its last two seconds faded, rebuilt from its kept latents in about ten seconds, no music made again.
  • Create ABC Score, Full plan by default, and the lyrics box as a code editor: numbered lines, marks to jump between (Alt+K, Alt+J), mcedit's keys, Ctrl+F, the section tags under «[» along a song's arc, the brackets checked before Generate.
  • Recite the lyrics on a score: the studio promo's narrator for your own words, each line on the bars of the score.

Better

  • The logo is the name alone: RUACH STUDIO, in each language its own words (РУАХ СТУДИЯ, ΠΝΕΥΜΑ ΣΤΟΥΝΤΙΟ…), in a bar of one height in every room, on the loading veil and in About; the tab's icon is the name's first letter on the logo's cloud (R, Р, Π).
  • The player in two rows where songs are heard and compared, in one elsewhere, and back with its take and its place after a reload (F5).
  • The engine keeps running when the GPU's memory runs out, and two or more sound variations no longer crash it.
  • The Refiner's chain in the order of the work; stems four by default.
  • The Librarian: folding the workspaces keeps the columns (the cards grow wider), a lighter day wash over the cards, the menu on checked cards acts on all of them.
  • Fewer tips: none repeats what the screen already says. The cheat-sheet's lyrics tags only go onto the clipboard (in the editor, «[» offers them).
  • The Artist's viewer over a slow link: a step shows the next picture at once, its full size when it has come.
  • The guide by F1, with two new tabs (Score, Voices on a Score) in seven languages.

Install / update

  • New: INSTALL.md (or Pinokio on Linux: download it from https://github.com/igrbible/Ruach_Studio and press Install).
  • From rc2: git pull and ./build.sh (it builds the engine too, as its code changed, and restarts the studio when nothing renders). From rc3 on, Engine → Updates in the page does it.

The second release candidate: what a day and a night of making songs asked for.

The lyrics keep time

  • Each line's beats against its section's ruler: verse and bridge one group, the pre-chorus and the chorus their own; a pause, a break or an interlude inside a section opens no group, and a line of tags alone is not counted.
  • A syllable by each language's own rules: Russian, Ukrainian, Belarusian, Greek, Spanish, Italian, English; Hebrew by its vowel points; Chinese, Japanese and Korean one sign each.
  • The meter measures time: a word with no vowel (с, в, к, з, й, ў) and a stop closed against an affricate (глу-п-цо́в) take a beat of their own, drawn lighter.
  • The section tags offered as you type «[» at a line's start, as a code editor offers its words; Intro, Outro and END already in the lyrics are flagged.
  • Stress marks astray found; Ctrl+F finds inside the lyrics or the style box alone.

The sound

  • The engine on ggml 0.26.0 with yue2.cpp's latest: a two-minute song in 51 s on an RTX 3090 (54–61 s before).
  • Another VAE in seconds: every take keeps its latents, and + Standard, + Legacy, + Blend decode them again with the VAE alone (about 2 s for two minutes).

The rooms

  • The Creator: frames over the room, the VAE in the ☰ menu under the model, Max length in Sampling, Denoising steps, the solver over two columns.
  • The Writer: the whole notebook exported to one file and imported back, nothing written over.
  • Open says what of a prompt file the form could not take; copying works on the machine's address; F5 keeps a run.
