Is this a client-side mod? No. It must be on the client and the server, and every player needs it. See Multiplayer Setup.

What version of Minecraft? Minecraft 1.21.1, Fabric only. Needs Fabric Loader 0.16+ and Fabric API.

Does it work with Forge / NeoForge? No — Fabric only.

Can I play alone? You can load in and test the tools, but it's a multiplayer hide & seek game — it's meant for a group. Use the Discord's looking-for-game channel to find people.

A feature isn't doing anything (rounds won't start, teams don't work). Almost always a version mismatch or the mod missing on the server. Run /mcinfo — it shows your version, the server's version, and flags a mismatch. Update the server jar to match.

How do I start a game? The host (an operator) runs /chameleon play for an instant game (auto teams, starts in place), or /chameleon to open the control panel. See Keybinds and Commands.

How do I paint my skin? Press G as a hider to open the Paint Studio. Use the colour wheel, or middle-mouse drag to eyedropper a colour off a nearby block. See How to Play.

Can I use it in a modpack? The mod is All Rights Reserved — ask first. Reach out via the Discord.

Is this a port of some other game? No. It's an original Minecraft minigame — its own code and assets, built for Minecraft. Not affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft.

Where do I report a bug? Modrinth comments or the Discord. Include your Minecraft version, the mod version (/mcinfo), whether it was singleplayer or multiplayer, and what happened.
