v1.0.2

@ilmakio ilmakio released this 06 Aug 20:15

Unzip and drag Paint.app into /Applications.

Signed with a Developer ID certificate and notarised by Apple, so it opens with
a double-click — no right-click dance, no quarantine flag to clear.

Added

  • Paint ▸ Check for Updates… — asks GitHub whether a newer release exists and
    offers to open the download page. It never downloads or installs anything, so
    nothing runs on your Mac that you didn't fetch and unzip yourself. A quiet
    check also runs on launch, at most once a day, and can be switched off with
    Paint ▸ Check Automatically.
  • -scroll zooms around the pointer, so the pixel under the cursor stays
    put. Trackpad deltas are accumulated, so a flick steps one level at a time.

v1.0.1

@ilmakio ilmakio released this 06 Aug 18:58

Unzip and drag Paint.app into /Applications.

Signed with a Developer ID certificate and notarised by Apple, so it opens with
a double-click — no right-click dance, no quarantine flag to clear.

Changed

  • New app icon, authored in Icon Composer, so it picks up the system's material
    and lighting treatments instead of shipping a flat raster.

Removed

  • The old AppIcon.appiconset and its ten hand-rendered PNGs, now that the
    .icon bundle supersedes them.
