ScrollBooster 4.0 is a rewrite in TypeScript with fixed behavior and new options. Breaking changes are listed in
MIGRATION.md, the full list is in
CHANGELOG.md.

  • ESM and <script> builds with TypeScript types, the class is a named export: import { ScrollBooster } from 'scrollbooster'
  • Pointer Events and touch-action: page scroll outside the viewport is never blocked
  • Motion is the same at 60 Hz and 120 Hz, rubber band resistance beyond the edges
  • New options: wheel (with 'horizontal' for strips), keyboard, snap, axisLock, reducedMotion
  • New methods: scrollBy(), scrollIntoView()
  • 'transform' mode keeps the content's own transform
  • Chrome 104+, Firefox 90+, Safari 15+. IE11 users stay on 3.x
