This extension is designed to provide AI-powered voice-over translation and subtitles for supported web content. We respect your privacy and do not collect, store, sell, or share your personal data.
Nothing
To provide its functionality, the extension sends requests to third-party translation services when you explicitly use its features.
Depending on the selected action, these requests may include:
- Text that you choose to translate
- Text for language detection
- The title of a video
- The URL of a video when requesting voice-over translation or subtitles
For some websites or videos, requests may optionally be routed through our proxy services (vot-worker and media-proxy) to overcome technical limitations such as cross-origin restrictions or unsupported video sources. These proxy services act only as intermediaries required to provide the requested functionality.
The extension communicates with third-party services required to provide translation, language detection, and voice-over functionality. Depending on the request, communication may occur either directly from your browser or through our optional proxy services (vot-worker and media-proxy).
Neither the extension nor our proxy services collect, profile, or sell your personal data. Any information transmitted is used solely to process your request.
We don't permanently store your translated text, video information, or any other submitted content.
When our optional proxy services (vot-worker and media-proxy) are used, request data is processed only for the time necessary to complete the operation and is not retained after processing.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the updated version published with the extension.
