A cell of the result read as a string.
native bool:MySQL_GetString(row, const field[], value[], size = sizeof (value));| Parameter | Description | Default |
|---|---|---|
row |
The row, from 0. |
|
const field[] |
Name of the field. | |
value[] |
Array for the text, empty when it is NULL. | |
size |
Size of the array. | sizeof (value) |
-
truewhen the text was written. -
falsewhen the cell is NULL or does not exist.
A longer cell is cut to fit the array. With the latin1 character set, the text is in the code page of the game, so accented letters arrive as the client shows them.
- MySQL_GetRow: Read the cells of a row into variables in one call, field after field.
- MySQL_IsNull: Whether a cell of the result read is NULL.
