Savepoint 1.5 adds verified save-history reports and stronger restore preflight.

  • Compare snapshots to identify added, removed, modified and unchanged save files and the byte difference.
  • Preview a restore without touching the destination, including identical files, conflicts and blocked paths.
  • Run both reports headlessly from the portable or installed executable. Existing report files are preserved.
  • Reject linked ancestors, directory collisions and parent-file blockers before copying restores.
  • Prevent root manifest.json source files from replacing snapshot metadata.

Five local regression suites and Release build passed. Application and installer CI passed on the release commit. Packaged report checks cover comparisons, preview-only behavior and overwrite protection. The downloaded portable executable runs those same headless checks before publication.

No snapshot or settings migration is required. Report files contain local paths and filenames. Refresh a preview if files change before restoring. Setup bundles the runtime and installs for the current account; the portable ZIP remains available.
