sensorCreate(sensorType, ...) builds many kinds of sensor, from a generic
Bayer array to specific, calibrated vendor parts. Type doc sensorCreate
for the complete, current list; this page summarizes the main categories.
sensorCreate('bayer-rggb'); sensorCreate('bayer-grbg');
sensorCreate('bayer-bggr'); sensorCreate('bayer-gbrg');
sensorCreate('bayer (ycmy)'); sensorCreate('bayer (cyym)'); % CMY variantsSee Color filter arrays for how the pattern itself is represented.

'MT9V024'— an Omnivision sensor:sensorCreate('MT9V024',[],{'rgb','mono','rccc'}) -
'ar0132at'— an ON Semiconductor sensor used in automotive applications:sensorCreate('ar0132at',[],{'rgb','rgbw','rccc'}) -
'imx363'— a widely used Sony sensor (used in the Google Pixel 4a) -
'ovt-large'/'ovt-small'— Omnivision's large- and small-pixel split-pixel HDR design -

'nikond100'— an older-model Nikon (D100)
-
'monochrome'/'monochrome array'— a single monochrome sensor, or a cell array of them -
'lightfield'— an RGB sensor sized to match a light field optical image -
'dualpixel'— an RGB dual-pixel Bayer sensor, for autofocus
-

'rgbw'— three RGB channels plus one transparent (clear) channel -
'imec44'— the IMEC 16-channel, 5.5 µm sensor -
'fourcolor'/'custom'— arbitrary channel counts and filter sets
sensorCreate('human') returns a sensor using Stockman quanta LMS cone
sensitivities (see pixelCreate('human'), a 2 µm aperture). This predates
the ISETCam/ISETBio split described in Sensor
and is likely to be deprecated; if you are modeling human vision, use
ISETBio instead.

ISETcam development is led by Brian Wandell's Vistalab group at Stanford University and supported by contributors from other research institutions and industry.
