Fixed

  • No more "30 / 46 / 55 new field(s)" Scout reports full of cryptic ids. A change in 2.17.4 accidentally surfaced every internal id-only data-point as its own "new field", so cars started filing huge Scout reports. Those ids are handled internally again; only genuinely new, readable fields are reported now.
  • The charging plug no longer shows a raw "invalid" state. When the car reports an "invalid"/"unsupported" plug state, the text sensor now stays unknown instead of showing the raw marker (the plugged-in yes/no was already correct).
  • Boot/trunk lock is read correctly on cars that report it in a compact form — and it no longer accidentally drives the doors locked state.

Added

  • More coverage over the EU Data Act portal, reusing existing sensors: oil low-level warning (petrol cars), rear climate-zone on/off, and sunroof position on cars that report it in a second slot.
  • Live "currently active" sensors for mirror heating and each climate zone (front/rear, left/right) — the live-status companions to the existing on/off settings. Diagnostic, off by default.
  • "Battery Care Changes Pending" diagnostic sensor.
  • Parking-light coverage for cars that report it as a single flag.
  • A different S-PIN per vehicle (#759). If the cars on your account each have their own S-PIN, you can now set a per-vehicle S-PIN under Settings → the integration → Configure. Leave a vehicle blank to keep using the shared S-PIN.
  • All new entities are translated in 12 languages.

  1. Download vag_connect.zip from this release / vag_connect.zip aus diesem Release herunterladen
  2. Unzip and copy custom_components/vag_connect/ to your HA config/custom_components/ folder, replacing any older copy / Entpacken und den Ordner custom_components/vag_connect/ in dein HA config/custom_components/ kopieren — alten Ordner ersetzen
  3. Restart Home Assistant / Home Assistant neu starten
