What's new in this release / Was ist neu in diesem Release

Added

  • The integration now speaks four more languages: Italian, Norwegian (Bokmål), Danish and Finnish. Full UI translations plus a translated README for each — twelve languages in total now.
  • You can switch on the two-way command channel for an existing VW or Audi account without deleting and re-adding it. Open Settings → Devices & Services → Reconfigure and tick "enable MBB commands" — the QR confirmation runs and the command channel is attached to your existing entry (so your entity IDs, automations and dashboards stay intact). Still experimental and legacy Car-Net only, exactly as at first setup.

Fixed

  • Reconfigure no longer wipes an existing command channel. Updating your password (or any other setting) through Reconfigure used to silently drop a durable-MBB two-way channel you'd set up — you'd have had to add it again. Reconfigure now merges your changes on top of what's already there instead of replacing everything.
  • The manual "Create EU Data Act data request" button now works even if you turned automatic provisioning off. Pressing it is an explicit request, so it now always creates the data request rather than doing nothing.
  • "No data → self-heal" now kicks in right away instead of waiting for the host's first six hours of uptime. A clock comparison meant the runtime re-provisioning could stay dormant on a freshly booted Home Assistant; it now fires on the first cycle that needs it.
  • Bentley setup and reconfigure no longer crash when building the entry title (Bentley isn't in the internal brand-name table — it now falls back to a plain label instead of erroring).
  • Lock / climate / charge toggles no longer snap back after you press them. The control flipped to the new state immediately, but the very next data poll overwrote it with the car's still-pre-command state, so it looked like the command hadn't worked until you hit refresh. The optimistic state is now held until the car's backend actually reports the change (or a couple of minutes pass). Thanks @torstentosh for pinning this down on a PPE Q4 e-tron.

Changed

  • Porsche login rebuild — groundwork only, nothing changes for users yet. The experimental Porsche path targets the retired My-Porsche (Auth0) app; the live app is Porsche One (PingFederate device login). This release adds that device-login implementation (unit-tested against mocked endpoints) so the rewrite is ready, but it is not wired in and still needs a Porsche One owner to verify it end-to-end before Porsche can be switched back on. Porsche stays flagged experimental.
