  • Free web search with no key or account: Exa by default, and DuckDuckGo when Exa is busy. Searching no longer costs anything unless you pick a paid engine.
  • The engine you pick in Settings → Web search now decides every search; Claude’s built-in search runs only when you pick Anthropic.
  • Site icons load for far more sites, YouTube and npm among them, and a site without one shows a globe instead of a letter.
  • On Windows, the taskbar shows Graft’s own icon and name instead of Electron’s.

Install

  • Windows: Graft-Setup-0.4.0.exe. The installer isn't code-signed yet, so SmartScreen may ask first: choose More info → Run anyway.
  • macOS: not in this release; the macOS build comes from the release workflow once GitHub Actions runs for this repository.
  • Linux: the .AppImage (mark it executable) or the .deb.
