Release Roadmap

Release Roadmap

This document presents a high-level overview of the remaining steps (as of writing on January 2026) before the project is fully "released". Each step is a high-level description and will be detailed in a specific project plan for that step. Steps will be completed in order.

1. Refactor

Review monolithic and unorganized code structures and apply good development practices to improve the quality of the source code.

1a. Types Documentation

In the absence of the type safety found in vanilla JavaScript (as opposed to Typescript), enhance the system's source code with JSDoc notation.

2. Complete Content Migration

Finish the migration of compendium content to current system module structures and v4 ruleset.

2a. Identify Missing Features

Add issues for any additional features required for elite advances and other new content throughout the migration.

3. Implement Missing Features

Design and implement features identified as blockers to full release from step 2a.

4. Final Issue Roundup

Review remaining issues for blockers to full release and resolve.
