Install

Cadence ships as a Docker image (multi-arch: amd64 and arm64).

Try it in demo mode (fake search results and request queue, no setup, no external calls):

docker run --rm -p 8000:8000 -e DEMO_MODE=true ghcr.io/jay739/cadence:0.1.0

Then open http://localhost:8000.

Run it for real with Docker Compose: follow the Quickstart and set image: ghcr.io/jay739/cadence:0.1.0 in docker-compose.yml to use this release instead of building locally. The optional YouTube fallback service is ghcr.io/jay739/cadence-ytdlp-shim:0.1.0.

Put Cadence behind your reverse proxy for TLS; it listens on port 8000 and does not terminate TLS itself.
