@quanthea/plugin-kit-v0.2.0 (2026-10-02)
Features
- plugin-kit: a plugin returns its contributions by kind, { connectors } (250cafe)
@quanthea/create-plugin 0.1.0
Immutable
release. Only release title and notes can be modified.
The first version of the quanthea plugin generator.
npm create @quanthea/pluginIt asks for the package name, the connector kind's identifier and display name, its query language and, for SQL, the dialect and its styles. Then it writes a project that builds, passes the kit's static checks and installs into quanthea:
- a connector kind whose connection answers with empty results, ready for your source;
- its conformance test, with the live checks off until CI has a source to query;
- Biome, tsc, the CI and Publish workflows, Dependabot and a README;
@quanthea/plugin-kitat the newest version on npm.
Every question has a flag, and --yes takes the defaults for the rest:
npm create @quanthea/plugin -- --name quanthea-plugin-duckdb --language sql --dialect ansi --yes--help lists them. The generator runs on Node; the generated project uses Bun.
See Publishing a plugin and the SQLite example for a complete plugin.

@quanthea/plugin-kit 0.1.0
Immutable
release. Only release title and notes can be modified.
The first beta of the kit quanthea connector plugins are written against.
bun add -d @quanthea/plugin-kit@^0.1.0
- @quanthea/plugin-kit: the types a plugin is written against (ConnectorKit, ConnectorKind, the bound queries, Frame) and kitVersion, 0 during the beta.
- @quanthea/plugin-kit/testing: createTestKit() and testConnectorConformance(), for bun test.
While the kit is in 0.x, a minor version adds to it and a patch version fixes it. ^0.1.0 takes the fixes; moving to 0.2.0 is your choice.
