HingeGlass 1.0.1

  • Simplified the About panel by removing the copyright line, license file path and icon-generation credit from the visible credits.
  • Preserved the effect attribution and bundled full third-party license.
  • Included the updated English and Chinese installation documentation.
  • The lid effect implementation is unchanged.

Download HingeGlass-1.0.1-macOS-arm64.zip, unzip it and move the app to Applications. Requires macOS 14 or later and an Apple silicon MacBook with a compatible lid-angle sensor. No Windows or Intel build.

This build is ad hoc signed and not Apple-notarized. Review any macOS security prompt before opening. The Desktop scene requires Screen & System Audio Recording permission; reopen the app if prompted.

Use Restore or Control–Option–Command–Escape to restore the desktop. Screen frames stay in memory; the app does not record audio or save or upload screen footage.

The effect adapts Macbook_Duo_Effect by Ruixiang Huang under MIT. The full copyright and license are included with the app and ZIP.
