Release 1.8.0
release-workflows v1.8.0
This release adds monorepo tag prefix support for AI-generated releases and delivers several improvements and fixes to the Claude PR review workflow, including inline comment anchoring and duplicate-post prevention.
Features
Monorepo tag prefix for AI releases (ai-release)
A new tag_prefix input lets you scope AI-generated release tags to a specific package or artifact within a monorepo. This allows independent versioning across multiple packages in a single repository.
Usage: Pass tag_prefix (e.g., my-package@) when calling the ai-release workflow to namespace the generated tags for that artifact.
Inline-anchored findings in Claude PR reviews (claude-pr-review)
The Claude reviewer now anchors its findings directly to the relevant lines in the diff, surfacing feedback as inline review comments rather than a single top-level summary. This makes it easier to locate and act on specific suggestions without cross-referencing the diff manually.
Bug Fixes
- Duplicate verdict posts eliminated — The fallback path in
claude-pr-reviewwas re-posting the verdict as a second comment; this has been corrected so only one verdict is published per review run. - Pinned
claude-code-actionto a full commit SHA — The dependency is now referenced by an exact SHA instead of a floating tag, preventing unexpected behaviour from upstream changes.
