Frame Player macOS Preview 0.1.1

Controlled Apple Silicon macOS preview refresh. Windows stable remains v1.8.4; Windows Avalonia Preview remains avalonia-windows-preview-0.1.0.

What Changed

  • Aligns the macOS Avalonia preview shell with the new Windows Avalonia preview layout: flat video viewport, centered empty state, fixed frame-entry rails, stable compare toolbar/status strip, and disabled command states before media load.
  • Preserves native macOS window/menu chrome instead of copying the Windows custom titlebar.
  • Fixes macOS export-host runtime resolution so release-candidate export flows use the bundled macOS runtime base instead of falling back toward Windows export runtime manifest entries.
  • Expands macOS UI/runtime contract coverage.

Validation

  • dotnet build src/FramePlayer.Mac/FramePlayer.Mac.csproj -c Release: passed, 0 warnings, 0 errors.
  • dotnet test tests/FramePlayer.Mac.Tests/FramePlayer.Mac.Tests.csproj -c Release --filter "Category!=ReleaseCandidate": passed, 50 tests.
  • FRAMEPLAYER_MAC_CORPUS="/Users/jflow231/Developer/frame-player/Video Test Files" script/validate_macos_release_candidate.sh --corpus "/Users/jflow231/Developer/frame-player/Video Test Files": passed, 55 tests, 10 corpus files.
  • PR #62 checks passed: Windows CI, macOS Avalonia, Dependency Review, CodeQL, and SonarQube/SonarCloud.
  • PR #64 docs/release checks passed: Windows CI, macOS Avalonia, Dependency Review, CodeQL, and SonarQube/SonarCloud.
  • Developer ID signed with Developer ID Application: JONATHAN MARQUETTE FLOYD (37H6P7CPFP).
  • Apple notarization accepted, submission 4e9a64b3-4004-4d38-aaaa-73a0ce69c5eb.
  • Stapler and Gatekeeper validation passed for the app bundle and for the app extracted from the final ZIP.
  • Final ZIP SHA256: 7c9ee402c7a7b2375a00567cd0bff1bf7fc8629deceb5d6837cc82d0b6ac0f62.

Notes

  • Apple Silicon / osx-arm64 only.
  • This is a prerelease; Windows WPF remains the stable release line.
  • Do not use this release as evidence that Windows stable was modified.
  • FFmpeg provenance includes GPL/x264 obligations; see THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md.
