Drive Rescue Assistant v0.9.0-rc.5 Controlled Test
Drive Rescue Assistant v0.9.0-rc.5
This is a controlled test release for Windows x64 and Linux x64. It is not a
general public or Store launch. Price to be confirmed.
What to test
- Select an external source and a separate destination.
- Preview files before copying.
- Filter and select the files to copy.
- Copy to a folder and review the local completion report.
- On disposable sample data, test verification and Resume.
Safety
Drive Rescue Assistant does not delete, format, repartition, repair, or modify
the source drive. Do not use it as the only recovery option for a physically
failing drive. Stop and seek professional recovery help if a drive clicks,
disconnects repeatedly, or is not detected reliably.

The Windows package is not code-signed and may show Microsoft Defender
SmartScreen. The Windows 11 scan, preview, copy, verification, and Resume
workflow has passed an independent-destination test. Linux external tester
verification remains outstanding.
macOS and Stores
The notarized Mac candidate is not included until its tagged-release provenance
and different-Mac browser-download test are complete. Microsoft Partner Center
remains in draft, and the product is not available in the Microsoft Store or
Apple App Store.
