On Boundaries of Evidence v1.4.0 — Collatz Recursive-Sufficiency Audit

Version 1.4.0 adds a claim-local audit of a published Collatz
recursive-sufficiency induction without changing the BSC core framework.

What is new

  • The first induction defect is made explicit:
    (F_1\setminus F_2={36k+27,36k+31:k\geq0}).
  • The (31)-class merge path is proved exactly; the (27)-class and the
    original induction remain unresolved.
  • Unconditional recursively-sufficient, periodic, exponentially zero-density
    replacement sieves are proved.
  • A cutoff-conditional finite-prefix extension is retained with an exact F11
    certificate: 52,686 ordered offsets, a schema-bound receipt, independent
    dynamic-program replay, and a complete scan of 1,388,888,889 compatible
    candidates.
  • Cross-platform checkout identity for the TSV certificate is pinned to LF
    and regression-tested.

Claim boundary

This release is not a proof of the Collatz conjecture, not an independent
replay of the external (2^{71}) base, not an official verification frontier,
and not a corrigendum issued on behalf of the cited authors. The finite-prefix
extension is conditional on the external base result and remains
claim-local.

On Boundaries of Evidence v1.3.0

Version 1.3.0 adds a fixed-interface operational-channel core, exact finite energy-port gluing with component and seam residual localization, denominator-typed efficiencies, and a typed electromagnetic evidence bridge.

Mathematical additions

  • BSC-ENE-02: exact additive energy-port gluing,
    (R_G=\sum_v r_v+\sum_e g_e), with pointwise and integrated bounds and an explicit non-converse from global closure to local correctness.
  • BSC-ENE-03: count yield, energy efficiency, and postselected efficiency remain differently typed; stage ratios telescope only across the identical intermediate extensive quantity, boundary, interval, cohort, weighting, and evidence identity.
  • Static geometric flux and stationary-relativistic current gates, including moving-boundary, time-dependent-metric, Killing-field, null-boundary, and nonstationary-spacetime limits.
  • Electromagnetic evidence results covering gauge descent, source compatibility, Poynting balance, calibrated passivity, hidden ports, phase non-identifiability, scoped inversion, coupling normalization, metrology, RG flow, and aperiodic geometry-to-field descent.

Crochet, quasars, FRET, light harvesting, and related cross-domain analogies were not promoted into the theorem layer. This release does not claim a unified microscopic theory, physical validation, a derivation of (1/137), a proof of the Riemann Hypothesis, or peer review.

All three GitHub verification runs passed both the integrity/regression and TeX Live PDF jobs.

Version 1.2.0 publishes the claim-relative simulation-evidence framework and
coupled-surrogate mathematics developed in PR #4.

Mathematical framework

  • Adds the simulation-evidence profile
    (\mathsf{SEC}_{c,\iota}) without changing the eight-field BSC morphism.
  • Separates statistical simulation, computational simulation, and surrogate
    deployment.
  • Types source estimands separately from target BSC loss coordinates and
    propagates certified source bounds through a monotone, unit-respecting map.
  • Declares a joint probability space, measurable random endpoints, coverage
    semantics, hard gates, intended use, proxy-transfer obligations, and
    five-factor evidence identity.
  • Proves compatibility-bounded deployment under
    (U^0_{c,j}+\rho_{c,j}\le\tau_{c,j}), without double-counting frozen
    uncertainty.
  • Records a two-point counterexample showing that small corresponding-law
    Wasserstein error does not control directed total-variation deficiency.

Coupled-surrogate fixture

  • Adds exact executable Fixture F10.
  • With the same standalone interface error (1/100) and horizon 10, HOST-A
    ((a=1/2)) remains within tolerance (1/20), while HOST-B ((a=9/10))
    first violates tolerance at step 7.
  • Retains an exact-rational CPython 3.12.13 receipt, complete reference and
    surrogate state paths, factored identity, independent recomputation, and
    fail-closed negative tests.

Evidence boundary

This release does not establish physical validation, a general surrogate
guarantee, or full BSC admissibility for Fixture F10. It does not prove the
Riemann Hypothesis and does not alter any mathematical or physical verdict in
the v1.1.0 Riemann-zeta/DQPT instance. Established V&V, UQ, surrogate-coupling,
operational re-verification, and statistical-distance results remain identified
as prior art; the BSC contribution is the typed integration, transfer rule, and
local demotion boundary.

Version 1.1.0 publishes the normalized-scale mathematics and the bounded
Riemann-zeta/DQPT application developed in PR #3.

Mathematical framework

  • Adds certified directed comparison families over finite BSC systems and
    normalized profiles $L_N=A_N/Z_N$.
  • Proves normalization collapse, additive logarithmic-rate signatures,
    normalization covariance, lower-margin stability, exceptional-set and slice
    visibility, contour-certified analytic zero transfer, multiplicity-aware
    root transfer, and exact finite decision bounds.
  • Adds a DQPT interpretation certificate that separates a mathematical
    rate singularity from a physical infinite-system phase claim.
  • Keeps the eight-field BSC morphism tuple unchanged and records full
    quantum-morphism composition as open claim BSC-QOP-03.

Riemann-zeta/DQPT instance

  • Retains the exact finite alternating-sum identity and explicit eta-tail
    control.
  • Proves the fixed-$s$ exponent/rate split, ambient and fixed-$\beta$
    singular sets, bounded contour zero-count transfer, and local
    multiplicity-dependent root drift under the stated hypotheses.
  • Records the five-qubit NMR report as one source-reported study without
    claiming a local replay, replication, exact-zero measurement, or hardware
    benchmark.
  • Adds documentary Fixture F9 and synchronized claim/status ledgers.

Evidence boundary

This release does not prove the Riemann Hypothesis. It does not infer an
exact zero from finite-resolution data, a thermodynamic DQPT from a finite
experiment, an independent physical origin of RH, a unique Kelvin
temperature, or an end-to-end quantum advantage. Those promotions remain
blocked, conditional, untested, or open as recorded claim by claim.

Corrective audit release for On Boundaries of Evidence and the Boundary-State Calculus audit artifacts.

Version 1.0.0 remains immutable. This release records a fresh adversarial audit and publishes the resulting patch rather than rewriting the original record.

Principal formal corrections

  • repairs partial-observable composition with the required restricted pullback;
  • separates well-formedness, claim evaluation, admissibility, categorical verdict, and support readiness;
  • distinguishes inconclusive upper bounds from genuine tolerance violations;
  • qualifies zero deficiency, boundary sufficiency screens, corpus lineage, and generic open-system composition;
  • strengthens the quantum-reference-frame fixture and narrows the topology-to-charge bridge;
  • version-pins preprints and adds the relevant 2025 Klingman source.

Release hardening

  • complete-set manifest verification and byte-reproducible ZIP archives;
  • hardened F8 receipt validation with independent recomputation and two permanent negative mutants;
  • 25 regression tests, GitHub Markdown-math checks, and warning-clean PDF source builds;
  • explicit file-scoped licensing and a historical v1.0.0 license clarification.
