What changed since v1.0.6

Where is the Studio? Click the eye icon in the activity bar (left edge) — Theme Studio sits next to Maut Activity. Or hit ⇧⌘T. Or click 🎨 Theme in the bottom-right status bar.

Fixes

  • Studio is actually discoverable now. v1.0.6 redeclared the maut viewsContainer, which shadowed Maut Activity's container and hid Theme Studio. v1.0.7 just contributes the view to the existing container so both show up together.
  • Status bar entry is back. 🎨 Theme on the right of the status bar opens the Maut sidebar AND focuses Theme Studio in one click.
  • First-run defaults apply automatically. On a fresh install (or fresh user-data dir), the Crimson dark palette + JetBrains Mono get applied immediately — no need to find the studio first. You see the JetBrains feel out of the box.
  • One-time welcome toast points at the eye icon so you don't have to hunt for the panel.
  • Active snapshot is re-applied on every startup, so settings.json drift can't leave the workbench half-themed.

Install

Download Maut-code-arm64.dmg below. The GH Actions workflow adds Intel + Windows assets within ~25 min of tagging.
