@john-broadway john-broadway released this 13 Sep 19:22

An LXC on the Proxmox host, one line.
packaging/lxc/ carries a container script, an install script and a card in the community-scripts shape, run on their MIT engine pointed at Proximo's own tree: a Debian 13 container with Proximo from PyPI, a minted bearer, /etc/proximo/proximo.env, and proximo-mcp-http.service bound on 41243 with the container's own address in the Host allowlist, running as a dedicated proximo user under a hardened unit with the PROVE ledger at /var/log/proximo/audit.log. The same line inside the container updates it through the engine's release check. The script turns the engine's telemetry off: no prompt, nothing posted to community-scripts, no status or advisory lookups. The engine is pinned to a commit, and the script refuses to run if that engine stops defining what it overrides. Not listed by community-scripts; the files are in their shape. README and SETUP carry the line.

Create plans disclose the bridge, and the doctor probes it.
pve_create_container with a netN option now names the bridge(s) and the SDN.Use requirement PVE 8+ checks apart from VM.Allocate; the clone plan has said this since June, the create plan never looked at its own net options. pve_doctor gained two rows, SDN.Use on the bridge and Datastore.AllocateSpace on the storage, so a token that can create guests is no longer reported able when the create would answer 403. Found live: a create through the operator token, refused on /sdn/zones/localnetwork/vmbr0. Tool-description examples moved from Debian 12 to Debian 13.

Removed: the HELLO front door.
proximo hello, src/proximo/hello.py and the anonymous feedback page at
john-broadway.github.io/hello/ are gone, and AGENTS.md is rewritten flat. Every
operational fact is kept: the sharp edges, the verification steps, the no-telemetry
statement. The greeting and the invitation are gone. Nothing ever came through it.
CHANGELOG entries from 0.19.0 and earlier still name that URL and the contact address:
they are the historical record, and the page stops resolving once it comes down. Outside
that history, neither is carried in the shipped docs any more. proximo hello now exits 2
as an unrecognised verb, like any other.
