Getting started

Getting started

1. Install & activate

Upload jookas-ai-autopilot-free.<version>.zip via Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin (or drop it into /wp-content/plugins/). Activate the plugin and complete the short setup wizard: brand name, content language, interface language (English / Slovak) and your API key.

2. Add an API key

Settings → API keys card. Pick one active text provider at a time:

  • Anthropic Claude — recommended default
  • OpenAI — also used for AI image generation when you pick an OpenAI image model
  • Google Gemini
  • OpenRouter — 200+ models behind a single key (Claude, GPT and others)

Keys are stored only in your own WordPress database and sent only to the provider you selected. The model dropdown lists current recommended models per provider; "Custom model…" accepts any model ID.

3. Give it topics

Topics tab — three ways:

  • Add manually into the topic queue (you can reorder, skip or remove rows).
  • News topics — enter niche keywords and pull fresh headlines via Google News RSS (any niche, any language). The "Suggest keywords from my site" button drafts keywords based on your existing articles.
  • AI suggestions — one-click suggested topics and multi-part content series based on SERP research (add a Serper.dev key in Settings to enable; optional).

4. Generate & publish

Overview tab action cards run generation immediately: Generate article now, Generate topics, News topics, Suggest series. Or let the daily autopilot do it — set the hour and weekdays in Settings → Basic settings.

New article status options: Draft, Publish immediately or Approve by email before publishing. Note: the built-in quality gate (missing internal links, too short) saves articles as drafts for your review automatically.

Finished articles appear in Overview → Article history and in the Topics queue with their post link.

5. Images

Settings → Featured image card sets the mode:

  • Media library IDs — rotate through attachment IDs you list (no API cost).
  • AI generation — uses your provider's image models (GPT Image / Gemini image models); cost runs on your own API plan.
  • Stock photos — Pexels / Pixabay / Openverse; add the free API keys for Pexels/Pixabay if you want higher rate limits, Openverse works without a key.

Optional: 1–2 in-body images per article (inserted after H2 sections).
