New in 4.3

  • Install without a computer. On the TV: install Downloader, open https://github.com/joydeepsjce/haven-tv/releases/latest/download/haven.apk, install, open Haven. Set up Haven walks you through the rest with the remote (Home button, Continue watching, weather, Recent apps, updates). The adb script is now only for optional extras.
  • Updates itself. Haven Settings > About > Check for updates (it also checks every 12 hours). Android asks you to confirm each update. Nothing installs silently.
  • New Settings page: two panels, sections on the left; Left/Right changes values in place.
  • QR code to add photos from your phone.

Updating from 4.2 or earlier: install this APK once (Downloader or adb install -r haven.apk). Future updates come through Haven itself.
