Icon Packs

ARK-launcher supports third-party icon packs — the same packs made for Nova, ADW, Apex and similar launchers. A selected pack restyles your app icons across the home screen, dock, app drawer and folders.

How to use an icon pack

  1. Install an icon pack from the Play Store (or any source). Icon packs are ordinary apps — for example Arcticons, Whicons, Delta, and many others.
  2. Open Settings ▸ Icons ▸ Icon pack.
  3. Pick a pack from the list. To go back to normal icons, choose System default.

The change applies immediately to every surface. Switching packs re-renders all icons.

What gets themed

  • Apps the pack includes get the pack's custom icon.
  • Apps the pack doesn't include keep their normal icon. Most modern packs cover the popular apps but not every app on your device, so a few icons may look unchanged — that is expected.

Notes

  • An icon pack overrides Material You themed icons while it is selected.
  • Only packs that ship the standard appfilter.xml mapping are supported (this is what nearly all icon packs use). Dynamic calendar icons and animated clock icons are not applied.
  • If a pack doesn't appear in the picker, make sure it is fully installed and that it is a real icon pack (some "icon pack studio" apps only generate a pack after you export it).
