Highlights
- Legacy device support: old SSH devices that only offer
ssh-dsshost keys now connect through PuTTY'splink(optional dependency), selected automatically or via "Legacy SSH (old devices)". - Old smartctl (5.x): plain-text parser for devices without JSON output (
-j) or--scan, BusyBox-safe drive discovery. - USB bridges: ATA pass-through (
-d sat) is tried before generic SCSI, so USB-attached disks report real SMART data. - Per-disk SMART history keyed by serial number follows the disk across hosts.
- Tests: 91 passing.
Install plink only if you need legacy devices: putty-tools (Debian/Ubuntu), putty (Arch, Fedora, Homebrew).
