POOM

POOM is an ESP32-C5 Marauder target with a 128 x 64 SH1106-compatible I2C OLED, six navigation buttons, microSD storage, and nine WS2812 LEDs.

Controls

  • D-pad: move through menus and keyboard characters
  • A: select; hold A to submit mini-keyboard input or stop where indicated
  • B: go back or cancel

Touch-only controls are omitted. The compact UI reserves the top eight-pixel row for channel, memory, and SD status. Analyzer, Recon, scrolling scan output, settings feedback, WiFi connection progress, and mini-keyboard screens are laid out for the remaining display area.

Hardware Mapping

  • OLED I2C: SDA GPIO 0, SCL GPIO 1, address 0x3C
  • Buttons: Left GPIO 3, A/Center GPIO 28, Up GPIO 7, Right GPIO 23, Down GPIO 24, B GPIO 9
  • microSD SPI: MISO GPIO 8, MOSI GPIO 4, SCK GPIO 6, CS GPIO 5
  • WS2812 chain: GPIO 27, nine LEDs, GRB order

NFC, IR transmit/receive, and the buzzer are not used by the Marauder POOM target.

Firmware and Flashing

Select the MARAUDER_POOM target and the ESP32-C5 8 MB default_8MB partition layout. An application-only test image is flashed at 0x10000; use the offset supplied with a release artifact if it differs.

The POOM display is buffered. Marauder explicitly refreshes progress, result, settings, keyboard, analyzer, and Recon states that run inside blocking workflows so the OLED does not appear frozen.
