Agent-progress 1.2.2 finishes the skill and CLI refinement for passive progress tracking.

  • ap connect now works in ordinary projects without ap.project.json. Existing declarations keep their product mapping and Codex MCP; malformed declarations remain errors.
  • Explicit AP_AUTO_OPEN=0 reaches the native launcher and hooks. connect preview adds read-only unmanaged, managed or conflict ownership state and a safe next action without exposing user settings.
  • ap doctor reports connection ownership, optional product/declaration integrity, native CLI versions, shell setup, tmux availability and exact terminal-slot identity. The default stays report-only; --strict exits nonzero for unhealthy requested checks.
  • ap shell status distinguishes current, outdated, absent, partial and conflicting setup. Known legacy blocks can upgrade with backups. Edited/unreadable blocks are preserved, and short-lived setup lock contention gets a bounded retry.

Validation: 129 Rust tests, fmt/Clippy, release-binary tmux/PTY and presentation scenarios, source skill validation, exact archive install/uninstall and byte-identical repackaging. New producer connection and terminal scenarios use isolated fixtures; this batch does not certify every native task tool, future agent version or human acceptance.

Unsigned macOS arm64 package. Apple Developer signing/notarization and other platforms remain outside the verified scope.

Known issue (nested projects): 1.2.2 may attach a manifest-free child project's plan
to an ancestor's declared product and update the ancestor's cached progress. Avoid this
layout on 1.2.2. If you used it, inspect the ancestor's recorded evidence; existing state
is not rewritten automatically. Fixed in 1.2.3:
