Resonāda 1.6.2 · Darpana · mirror
Resonāda — 1.6.2 · Darpana · mirror
versionCode 32 · minSdk 30 · targetSdk 36 · same keystore — installs as an update over any earlier build without losing your library, playlists, favorites or settings.
Darpana — the mirror. A mini release about reflection: the Stats screen becomes a living mirror of your listening — a most-played cover collage, touchable charts and a genre treemap — with a shareable card to show it off; and the analysis tools now mirror each other exactly, after fixing a subtle race that could make the spectrogram's measurements disagree with Track Details on the very same file.
✨ New
- 📊 Stats screen glow-up. A cover-art collage of your most-played albums crowns the screen, every chart is now touchable — tap any bar in When You Listen, Weekly Rhythm or Decades You Love for exact plays and share — and a new "Your Sound" treemap maps your listening by genre, with the top artist behind each tile.
- 🖼️ Share your stats as a card. "Share my stats" now sends a branded image — your album-art collage plus headline numbers (plays, time, streak, lossless share, top artist/album/genre, favourite era) — with the classic text summary attached as the caption.
⚡ Improved
- 📝 Applied lyrics travel with the file. Accepting lyrics from the preview now permanently embeds them into the file's own tags (plus a .lrc sidecar), so any other player sees them too — with an honest message when a file isn't writable and the lyrics stay app-side.
🛠️ Fixed
- 🔬 Spectrogram measurements now match Track Details exactly. The spectrogram and the fidelity verdict analyzed the file at the same time through one shared decoder, silently splitting the samples between them — clipping and inter-sample overs could read ~40% low and vary run to run. Analyses are now serialized so every measurement sees the full track (verified against reference tools).

Resonāda 1.6.1 · Satya · truth
Resonāda — 1.6.1 · Satya · truth
versionCode 31 · minSdk 30 · targetSdk 36 · same keystore — installs as an update over any earlier build without losing your library, playlists, favorites or settings.
Satya — truth. A mini release about the app never lying to you: the bitXact badge now tells the truth about ReplayGain, exclusive USB sessions survive every way of picking a track, a mis-driven DAC volume control is fixed for real, native gapless graduates from experimental after on-device validation, and AuxBridge gets a live control bar plus automated routing on phones that double-route.
✨ New
- 🎛️ AuxBridge lives in the mini player. While the bridge is live, the bottom bar becomes an AuxBridge control — live elapsed time, pause and stop right there, and one tap opens the full bridge screen (which now also shows how long the bridge has been live) — no more digging through the side menu.
⚡ Improved
- 🚦 Smoother AuxBridge on phones that double-route. Some phones keep sending the source app's audio to the USB DAC alongside the bridge, causing breaking or stuttering audio. The bridge screen now explains it, taps straight through to the right Developer option, and — after a one-time
adbgrant (copy-paste command shown in-app) — handles the routing switch automatically for each session and restores it when the bridge stops. - 🎚️ ReplayGain moved to Equalizer & DSP. It scales the audio like any other DSP, so it now lives with the EQ — same Track/Album modes and preamp, clearer description.
- 🔗 Native gapless is out of experimental. Validated on-device: seamless same-format splices with zero USB underruns, and cue-sheet or format-change boundaries handled safely.
- 🩺 Deeper DAC report. The report now maps the DAC's full USB volume topology — every volume control and audio terminal, and which one actually feeds the output — so misbehaving hardware volume can be diagnosed from a single exported file.
- ☁️ Clearer S3 errors. The S3 source now surfaces the storage provider's real error (like SignatureDoesNotMatch or AccessDenied) instead of a bare "HTTP 403", making misconfigured buckets easy to fix.
🛠️ Fixed
- 🔊 Full-volume blast on the TTGK "Note" USB DAC fixed. Its main volume control accepts changes without actually lowering the level; the app now drives the per-channel control instead — working, bit-perfect volume at any position.
- 🎯 Up Next, album and artist taps keep bitXact. Tapping a track there no longer silently drops an exclusive USB session to shared output — those taps now pick the engine exactly like the library does.
- 🔁 Repeat All wraps on the bitXact path. Next on the last track (or Previous on the first) of a USB-DAC queue now wraps around instead of doing nothing.
- 💎 bitXact is honest about ReplayGain. When ReplayGain or its preamp is scaling samples on the exclusive path, a "ReplayGain active" notice shows instead of a lit badge.
- 💿 Gapless respects cue sheets. A cue-sheet track queued next no longer splices into the whole physical file, and per-track ReplayGain now updates at each seamless transition.
- 💥 No more crash opening Up Next when the queue contains the same song twice.

Resonāda 1.6.0 · Setu · bridge
Resonāda — 1.6.0 · Setu · bridge
versionCode 30 · minSdk 30 · targetSdk 36 · same keystore — installs as an update over any earlier build without losing your library, playlists, favorites or settings.
Setu — the bridge. This line is about connecting Resonāda to everything around it: AuxBridge carries any other app's audio across to your USB DAC through the app's own exclusive driver, and DLNA casting grows up — the renderer now truly answers to the app for transport, track picks and even the volume keys. Rounded out by full album views and continuous playback for the streaming sources, and a small set of sharp fixes.
✨ New
- 🌉 AuxBridge — play any app through your USB DAC. Capture the audio of any other app (streaming services, browsers, games) with Android's playback-capture consent flow and stream it to your DAC through Resonāda's own exclusive driver — pick a capture rate (44.1–192 kHz), keep the volume law, DSP and visualizers, and get a clean handover the moment you start normal playback. Honest by design: clearly labeled not bitXact (Android decodes and mixes the source first), with a hint when the playing app blocks capture. Find it under Sources when a USB DAC is connected.
- 💿 Full album views for streaming search. Tidal and Qobuz results now carry an album icon that opens the album's complete tracklist in a sheet — play the whole album or jump to any track — and tapping a Deezer album opens its full tracklist (every song, with durations) instead of starting one song with the rest hidden.
🛠️ Fixed
- 📺 DLNA casting is now fully controllable. Play/pause, next/previous, seek and picking a different song all drive the renderer while a cast session is live — the phone no longer keeps controlling (or simultaneously playing) its own output while the renderer stays stuck on the first song. The play button mirrors the renderer's state, and the volume slider and hardware volume keys now set the renderer's own volume, with your local volume restored when the session ends.
- 📜 The "Add to playlist" dialog now scrolls, so every playlist is reachable instead of the list clipping at what fit on screen.
- 🔁 The app reopens normally after an unexpected reboot or shutdown. A settings file left half-written by abrupt power loss used to crash the app at launch (recoverable only by clearing its data); it's now detected and reset automatically.

Resonāda 1.5.0 Viveka
Resonāda — 1.5.0 · Viveka · discernment
versionCode 29 · minSdk 30 · targetSdk 36 · same keystore — installs as an update over any earlier build without losing your library, playlists, favorites or settings.
Viveka — the discerning ear. This line is about telling real quality from fake: fidelity analysis that reliably unmasks lossy transcodes hidden in lossless files, names every format honestly, and carries a confidence level on each verdict, with a richer spectrogram you can read point-by-point and export. Rounded out by a redesigned Now Playing widget, a true AMOLED-black theme, full streaming album views, experimental upsampling, and a broad sweep of playback and UI fixes.
✨ New
- 🌑 AMOLED black theme. A new Cover art background option paints backgrounds pure black, so those pixels switch fully off on OLED / AMOLED screens — deeper blacks and lower battery on those panels. Off by default, and it never touches audio playback.
- 🎚️ Experimental upsampling (opt-in). Reconstruct lossless PCM to a higher sample rate before your USB DAC through a reference-class linear-phase filter — "Max" auto-picks the highest whole-number multiple your DAC supports, or choose a fixed 2× / 4× / 8× (e.g. 44.1→176.4, 48→192 kHz). A user-controlled experiment, clearly not bit-perfect, off by default, with bit-perfect playback left untouched.
- 🗄️ Advanced search for Internet Archive. Filter archive.org by title, creator, collection, subject and year range (or lossless-only), with sort options.
- 🖼️ Export the spectrogram as an annotated image. Save the picture with its axes, fidelity verdict, key measurements and the methodology behind them — plus a details sheet with the full grounded analysis.
⚡ Improved
- 📟 Redesigned Now Playing widget. A single premium home-screen widget with a live progress seekbar and elapsed / total time that advances second-by-second while playing, snappy Next / Previous with the cover art changing instantly, a clean AMOLED-black card, and a working like button tucked under the cover. It replaces the older cluster of smaller widgets.
- 🔬 Smarter fidelity analysis. Detects lossy transcodes hidden inside lossless files ("fake FLAC") far more reliably without mislabeling genuine low-pass-mastered or 24-bit / 48 kHz tracks; names truly lossy files (MP3, AAC, Opus, AC-3) by codec with bit depth shown as N/A; reads 24-bit CD-rate tracks as Studio Master; labels DSD by its real rate (DSD64 · 2.8 MHz, DSD128, DSD256); and every verdict now carries a confidence level — Confirmed, Likely or Possible — with inter-sample true-peak overs flagged against the EBU R128 −1 dBTP standard and a plain-language note when a master runs hot.
- 🌈 Richer spectrogram. Shows the fidelity verdict and the detected frequency-cutoff line right on the image, lets you tap any point to read its exact frequency / level / time, and adds a dB colour scale, a format header, and frequency labels up to the true Nyquist for hi-res.
- 🧭 Library browsing polish. Tapping an artist now shows that artist's albums (tap one to open its tracks) instead of one long flat list — Play / Shuffle in the header still play everything. Playlists are searchable by name alongside tracks and albums, and albums and playlists carry a small type badge on their cover art.
- 🎞️ Premium screen animations (opt-in). With Screen animations turned on, moving between screens now uses a shared-axis slide + fade with emphasized easing; the default crisp instant swaps are unchanged.
- 📜 Fuller open-source credits. The licenses screen now also credits AutoEq, sshj, smbj, Apache Commons Net and Bouncy Castle.
🛠️ Fixed
- 🎼 Very long and very large tracks now play end to end. Multi-hour, multi-gigabyte hi-res albums — big single-file or CUE rips in FLAC, WAV, AIFF, ALAC, DSF or DFF — now seek and play accurately the whole way through, instead of mis-seeking past a point on some devices.
- 🔋 Streaming no longer stops after the screen is off. Non-USB playback now holds a CPU + Wi-Fi lock while playing, so Doze can't starve it during long screen-off sessions.
- 🌐 DLNA / UPnP tracks with cover-art thumbnails now play. On servers that attach a thumbnail to each track, the app was picking the image link instead of the audio stream, so a track silently did nothing; it now plays, with a clear message if a remote stream stalls with no audio.
- 📻 HLS radio stations play instead of crashing. Stations that stream over HLS (common in search results) now play; any station whose format still can't be played shows a message rather than closing the app.
- 🎨 Light-theme polish. The About screen's cosmic backdrop is back in Light theme as an always-dark showcase with legible text, the navigation sidebar now follows your Light / Dark choice, and synced lyrics get a solid, easy-to-read panel with a vivid gradient highlight instead of album-art bleed.
- ✋ Bottom-nav re-tap no longer flickers. Re-selecting the tab you're already on used to pop and rebuild the screen on every tap; it's now a no-op (Home still resets to the All view).
- 🔍 Per-tab cover zoom is remembered. Pinch-to-resize covers on Albums no longer cascades to Songs, Artists and every other tab — each keeps its own layout.
- 🔔 Tidier media notification when paused. Swiping the app away while paused no longer leaves a stray notification card behind, and reopening doesn't pop a notification until you actually start playback.
- 🌐 Lyrics translation polish. Downloaded on-device language packs now list (with Download and Refresh) in Settings → Lyrics translation, translation stops and its toggle resets when you leave the lyrics view, and the translate toggle appears only in the lyrics view.
- 📊 Spectrogram axis no longer clipped. The time axis and labels are no longer cut off at the bottom of the screen on some devices.

Resonāda 1.4.0 Bhāṣā
What's new in 1.4.0 · Bhāṣā · language
New
- 🌐 Translate synced lyrics. Toggle translation right from the lyrics view and pick a target language. On-device translation is free and works offline (it downloads a small language pack the first time), or bring your own DeepL / Google Cloud / LibreTranslate key for higher-quality cloud translation. Downloaded language packs are listed and can be deleted in Settings → Lyrics translation.
- 📚 Internet Archive is now a source. Search archive.org's huge free audio library — live concerts, netlabels, public-domain and 78rpm, much of it lossless FLAC — then open an item, play its tracks, and download them. Each file shows its real resolution (e.g. FLAC · 24-bit/96 kHz). No account needed.
Improved
- 🌈 Lyrics highlight matches your look. The active karaoke line now uses the accent gradient of your selected app icon, with a crisp per-letter outline for a premium, readable finish.
- 🎛️ Faster translate control. The translate toggle now lives right in the lyrics action row (icon only) and applies instantly — it overlays the translation in place without re-fetching the lyrics, and re-applies automatically on the next track or after a relaunch.
Fixed
- 🔁 Your session is restored on reopen. The last track, queue and playback position now persist when you close and reopen the app — including streaming tracks — so the Now Playing screen, mini-player and progress bar come back exactly where you left off.
- 💥 No more crash from the fidelity analyzer on streaming tracks.
- 💥 No more crash when opening a song. Fixed a start-up race that could close the app when tapping a track to play.
- 🌐 Reliable lyrics translation. The first language-pack download no longer hangs, translation re-applies after a relaunch or track change, and the language menu no longer runs off-screen.
versionCode 28 · minSdk 30 (Android 11) · targetSdk 36 (Android 16)
Resonāda 1.3.0 · Prakāśa · clarity
Resonāda — 1.3.0 · Prakāśa · clarity
versionCode 27 · minSdk 30 (Android 11) · targetSdk 36 (Android 16) · same keystore — installs as an update over any earlier build without losing your library, playlists, favorites or settings.
Prakāśa — light, made clear. This line is about seeing your sound: a reference-grade fidelity analyzer (true BS.1770-4 loudness, real true-peak oversampling, hi-res depth, and new LRA / effective-bit-depth / DC / stereo-correlation readouts) that now measures every lossless format whole-track through the app's own bit-exact decoders, plus a Signal Path panel that finally tells you how much DSP is being applied. Rounded out with two important stability fixes.
✨ New
- 📊 See how much DSP is applied. The Signal Path panel now shows not just which effects are on but how much they change the sound — a headline "±X.X dB peak" figure plus a per-effect breakdown (EQ, pre-amp, bass, loudness, compressor, limiter, make-up gain, crossfeed, convolver). Reads "None — bit-perfect (0.0 dB)" when the signal is untouched.
- ☁️ Cloud cache on/off master switch (Settings → Cloud Cache → Enable cache) that every streaming source respects. On: whole tracks are cached for reliable, bit-perfect local playback; off: tracks stream directly for the quickest start and nothing is stored.
⚡ Improved
- 🔬 Reference-grade fidelity analysis. Loudness is now true ITU-R BS.1770-4 / EBU R128 (K-weighted, gated, correct at any sample rate) and true peak uses a real 4× oversampler that catches inter-sample overs the old estimate missed. Hi-res sources are analyzed at full 24-bit/float depth instead of being truncated to 16-bit, clipping is detected per channel, and there are new readouts: Loudness Range (LRA), effective bit depth measured from the actual sample grid (exposes 16-bit content padded into a hi-res file), DC offset, and stereo correlation (phase / mono-compatibility). Backed by unit tests.
- 🎼 Whole-track fidelity for every lossless format. FLAC (including 352.8 / 384 kHz), WAV, AIFF and ALAC are now analyzed end-to-end through the app's own bit-exact native decoders instead of the platform decoder — so high-rate FLAC and AIFF that used to fail are measured accurately, with no length cap and bounded memory.
- 📈 Cache usage now counts every streaming source, so the size shown and the eviction cap are accurate across all sources instead of under-counting some of them.
- 🌈 Reference-grade spectrogram. It's now calibrated (a full-scale tone reads exactly 0 dB), decoded through the app's own bit-exact decoders so hi-res FLAC (including 352.8 / 384 kHz), WAV, AIFF and ALAC render accurately, and it preserves real stereo bandwidth (per-channel FFT with a −92 dB Blackman-Harris window instead of a mono downmix).
🛠️ Fixed
- 🎚️ EQ presets now stick. A preset you set (including a headphone/AutoEQ tuning) could silently revert to flat after relaunching or starting playback, because the per-output-device profile recall ran before your saved settings finished loading. Your saved EQ now always loads first.
- 📚 No more scan crash-loop. On some phones the app could freeze and close right after a library scan finished ("Saving library"), then reopen and start scanning all over again. The scan now writes the library in one atomic step so it can't collide with the screens reading it, and the lists recover instead of crashing if a read is interrupted mid-scan.
- 🔊 No more brief pause/hiccup on notifications. Playback no longer stutters when a notification or alert sounds (or you switch apps) during bit-perfect USB-DAC playback — since the notification plays on the phone's own output and can't touch the exclusive DAC stream, the app keeps playing untouched. A real interruption (a phone call or navigation prompt taking over) still pauses and resumes as before.
- 🔌 DAC is reliably released when you clear the app from Recents, so other music apps play immediately — before, the app could be killed mid-shutdown and leave the DAC claimed, leaving other apps silent until you replugged it.

v1.2.0
What's new in 1.2.0 · Akhanda
New
- 💿 CUE sheets. A single-file album (one long FLAC/WAV/AIFF/ALAC with a
.cuebeside it) now appears and plays as its individual tracks — real titles and per-track times — on both the standard and bit-perfect USB-DAC paths, with skip and seek working within each track. Needs all-files access or the folder added under Settings → folders. - 🔗 Native gapless (experimental). On the bit-perfect USB-DAC path, consecutive same-format tracks (FLAC/WAV/AIFF/ALAC at the same rate and bit depth) now play with no gap — the engine splices the next track into the still-open DAC stream instead of re-opening it per track. Different rates/bit depths and DSD switch exactly as before. Turn it on under Settings → Native gapless.
Improved
- 🔊 Bit-perfect at any volume. On USB DACs with a working hardware volume control, the app now uses it by default, so playback stays fully bit-perfect (bitXact) at any volume instead of only at 100% — the volume keys and slider drive the DAC's own (often analog) volume while the digital stream is sent untouched. DACs whose control isn't real are detected at connect and fall back to software automatically, and you can still force software volume in Settings.
- 🧮 Cleaner software volume. When a USB DAC has no usable hardware volume and the app attenuates in software, the output is now TPDF-dithered instead of truncated, so quiet passages get a benign, near-inaudible noise floor instead of low-level distortion. Full-volume bit-perfect playback stays byte-identical.
- 🎛️ Crossfade curves. Crossfade now offers selectable fade curves — Linear, Equal power, Exponential or Logarithmic — to shape how one track blends into the next (Equal power keeps perceived loudness steadier through the blend). Applies to the standard output path.
- 🎧 Bluetooth codec controls. The Bluetooth codec screen now lets you pick LDAC quality (Adaptive / 990 / 660 / 330 kbps) alongside sample rate and bit depth, shows the connected headphone's battery level where your phone exposes it, and its "Open Developer Options" button jumps straight to (and highlights) the Bluetooth Audio Codec setting on supported phones.
- 💎 Refined bitXact badge. The Now Playing bit-perfect indicator is now a tiny embossed bitXact chip — "bit" and "act" glow gold and the "X" carries your app-icon gradient when the track is genuinely bit-exact, resting dim and calm otherwise.
- ⏱️ Sleep timer polish. The Sleep timer default slider snaps in clean 5-minute steps (5–120 min), and the playback-screen timer dialog now links to it — a one-tap "Default · N min" option sits at the top and the custom field opens pre-filled with your configured default.
- 🎞️ Optional screen animations. A subtle fade when moving between screens, under Settings → Feed & Visuals — off by default, so the app keeps its instant, flicker-free swaps unless you turn it on.
- 🧭 Clearer Fix My Sound. The Fix My Sound button now explains what it does and how it differs from the bitXact path — it flattens your EQ/DSP to a transparent baseline, while the bit-perfect button changes the output route to your DAC.
Fixed
- 🔉 Hardware volume on more dongles. Some USB dongles (e.g. certain Realtek-based DACs) whose main volume accepts changes but doesn't actually lower the level now work — the app drives their per-channel control instead, so the slider and volume keys finally take effect.
- 🏷️ Correct signal-path blocker labels. An off-by-one in the blocker table made a non-unity L/R balance (channel trim) show up as "EQ active" (and mislabeled every blocker after it) — blockers now name the real reason a track isn't bit-exact.
- 📻 Real rate on tagless streams. The signal path now shows the actual locked output rate and bit depth on the bitXact USB path even when a track carries no tags (e.g. internet radio), instead of "ACTIVE" beside blank "—" rows; streams that aren't bit-exact still correctly show "—".
- 🎚️ Volume keys anywhere in bit-perfect. During bit-perfect / USB-DAC (exclusive) playback you can now change volume with the hardware keys from anywhere — home screen, another app or a locked screen — not just while the app is open.
- 🔌 USB exclusive re-claims after fast skips. If a rapid track change briefly drops the native engine to ExoPlayer (grey badge), the app now automatically re-claims the DAC and returns to bit-perfect once the skips settle.
- 📁 Exclude any folder. Excluding a folder (including standard ones like Music or Download) no longer dead-ends on Android's "Can't use this folder" screen or flashes a loader and closes — it now uses the same in-app browser as "Add folder", reaching any directory and saying why if one genuinely can't be opened.
- 🗂️ Per-folder scroll memory. The Folders tab now remembers each folder's scroll position independently, so opening a sub-folder and stepping back no longer snaps the parent list to the top.
- 🎯 Cover-art jump is one-shot. Using "tap cover art to find the song" no longer hijacks the bottom Home button afterward — it's a one-shot jump and no longer forces the All-songs tab until you restart.
- 🔔 Exit clears the notification when paused. Exiting from a paused state no longer leaves a lingering media card in the notification shade.
- 📱 Scrollable menu in landscape. The track ⋮ menu no longer runs off the bottom of the screen in landscape — long menus cap to the visible height and scroll, keeping every action reachable.
- 🛡️ No crash on slow lyrics fetch. Fetching or previewing lyrics from an online source no longer crashes when the network is slow or a service is unreachable — a timeout now falls through to "no match" or the next source.

- 🏠 A personalized Home. A redesigned Home is now your default tab — a time-of-day greeting, mixed card rows (Jump back in, Albums, Recently added, Artists, Rediscover) and your top-tracks and favourites lists, with no sort/view chrome, and it adapts to landscape.
- 🌍 Live discovery feed. Home can open with a running feed of worldwide trending and new albums (with artist descriptions), a trending-tracks row and a personalized "More from artists you love" row built from your own library. Tap to play the full track when a streaming source is connected, or a 30-second preview otherwise. Switch it off in Settings.
- 📰 News & articles. A new section under Sources lets you subscribe to any RSS/Atom feed (a few music publications to start), browse a feed's latest stories and read them in-app — turn it off in Settings.
- 📖 Artist & album About. Artist and album screens now show an online bio or write-up, which you can switch off in Settings.
- 🎯 Tap art to find the song. Tapping the cover art on Now Playing jumps to that track's spot in your library, scrolled right to it — handy after skipping around.
- 🎤 Many more lyrics formats & sources. TTML, LRC, KRC, YRC and QRC files (beside a track or embedded) load automatically, and a new "Choose a lyrics source" picker fetches and previews from LrcLib, Apple Music, Musixmatch, QuickLRC, NetEase, QQ Music or KuGou before applying.
- 🔋 Keep playback running. On first launch the app offers to be exempt from battery optimization, so aggressive phones stop throttling or killing background playback.
⚡ Improved
- 🏷️ Richer metadata. The Review metadata dialog now shows the tags already in your file (composer, comment, ISRC, label, catalog #, BPM, embedded-lyrics and more) and can write that wider set. New sources — MusicBrainz (with per-release label, catalog number, barcode, format and ISRC), Deezer and Discogs — fill catalogue data when you pick a match, with a filter to narrow the picker to one provider. (Discogs uses a free personal token you add in Settings, stored only on your device.)
- 📋 Complete tag view. The track Details view and the Now Playing info button now show the full tag set — composer, lyricist, ISRC, label, catalog number, barcode, BPM, key, embedded-lyrics and more — and both show exactly the same information.
- 🎼 Better lyrics picking. The lyrics chooser has editable Title and Artist fields for custom searches, lists every matching record (across Apple Music, LrcLib, Musixmatch, NetEase and KuGou), skips Apple Music alternate cuts with no lyrics, and tells you when a regional service can't be reached from your region.
- ⚙️ Tidier Settings. The Settings screen is reorganized into clear, labelled sections — Audio Output, USB Tweaks, USB DAC, Bluetooth and Playback & DSP, then Feed & Visuals, then Accounts & Services.
- ⏳ On-brand loading. Fetching online metadata now shows a small loading indicator you can cancel.
🛠️ Fixed
- 📜 Library keeps your place. Returning to the library (e.g. from Now Playing) no longer snaps to the top or visibly "re-adjusts" — it keeps your scroll position and only jumps to the top when you change the sort order.
- ⏭️ End-of-queue controls. After a playlist finishes, Play restarts the last track, Previous steps back and Next replays the last one — on both USB-DAC/hi-res (native) and the phone's own speakers/headphone jack. Fast-skipping to the end no longer freezes Next/Previous until you re-pick from the library.
- 🍏 ALAC plays everywhere. Apple Lossless files now play on the phone's speakers/headphone jack and other non-USB outputs instead of failing with a decode error on some devices.
- 🔌 USB exclusive self-recovers. Bit Xact / exclusive output retries its claim when a DAC briefly re-enumerates on a track change, instead of silently dropping to shared output (the badge going grey).
- 📊 Truer Fidelity analysis. Bandwidth and loudness (LUFS) are now measured across the whole track, so songs with quiet, bass-only intros aren't falsely flagged as "Limited bandwidth".
- 🎚️ Accurate Signal Integrity. The "Android SRC" row reflects real resampling instead of mirroring every bit-perfect blocker, so software volume no longer makes it falsely read "ACTIVE".
- 📁 Folder View order. Folder View orders tracks by Track Number (disc, then track) by default, with optional Title or Date-added sort remembered separately from the rest of the library.
- 🔢 Sorted lists stay put. Sorting by anything other than title shows from the top immediately and stays there, including right after launch.
- ↩️ Resume from recents. Closing the app from recents resumes your last track at the exact position instead of restarting from 0:00.
- 🎶 Cleaner visualizer. The Now Playing visualizer no longer attaches a system audio effect that could crackle output on some phones — it's drawn from a read-only in-app analyzer, which also makes it work on Bit Xact / USB-DAC / DSD playback.
- 🔤 Accurate lyrics status. The lyrics message names the actual source ("Searching ") and only says "Transcribing — AI is syncing" when the AI source is used; NetEase lyrics now return results for Western and CJK tracks.
- 🧾 Correct exported log name. The exported log file (Settings → Diagnostics → Export logs) now uses the full app name instead of dropping the accented letter and producing a garbled name.
