Fake Car 1.1.0: more of what you can do with a real car.
New
- Flash software: E-Sys's TAL calculation finds what is out of date, and the module reports the new version after it is flashed
- Write FA, FP and I-steps to the VCM; they stay written
- Enabling codes (FSC) on the head unit and the instrument cluster: store, read, check, cancel
- Coding from a newer CAFD shows that CAFD in the module's software list
- New car: BMW F30 340i with old cluster software, for flash practice (
cars\F30_340i_US_flashtest) OUTDATED=60incar.txtleaves modules on the software they were built with, so you have something to flash- Cars are built with the software E-Sys's own KIS calculation wants, so a car that is up to date has nothing to flash
- Small "by kdrcoding" in the window
Car models
- BMW F10 550i xDrive M Sport (US, 2015), 35 modules
- BMW F30 340i M Sport (US, 2017), 23 modules
- BMW F30 340i with old cluster software (flash practice), 23 modules
- BMW F80 M3 (US, 2017), 24 modules
Every VIN is made up. Coming from 1.0.0: delete the generated files in each car folder (keep car.txt, FA.xml, faults.txt), or just unzip into a new folder, so the cars are rebuilt with the new software lists.
How to use
- Download
FakeCar-1.1.0.zipand unzip it anywhere. - Start
FakeCar.exe, pick a car, press Start. - In E-Sys: Open Connection, pick the car by its VIN (or use the gateway URL

To flash: Comfort Mode > TAL-Calculating, Read FA, Read SVT (ECU), pick Complete flash, set I-Step (shipm.) to the car's ISTEP_SHIPMENT from car.txt, Calculate, TAL calculation, Save, Execute.
You need: Windows 10 or 11, E-Sys with PSdZData (F010 for the F10, F020 for the F30 and M3). No .NET install needed.
Windows may warn about an app from the internet the first time: More info, then Run anyway.
Tested with E-Sys 25.10. A full flash run and the FSC actions inside E-Sys are not tested yet. ISTA is not tested yet.
