v2.3.0
🎭 New: speaker-aware dubbing (experimental)
Lingolay now hears who is speaking: a woman's line is dubbed with a female voice, a man's with a male voice, in all 20 dubbed languages, offline. Turn on Dubbing, then check Voice dubbing → Match the speaker's voice. Requires Windows 10 version 2004 or later. Run Lingolay.exe --listen-test to check what Lingolay hears.
It is off by default and experimental: tell us how it works for you.
What's new: see the changelog.
Download
Windows 10/11 (64-bit): download Lingolay-…-windows-x64.zip below, extract it anywhere and run Lingolay.exe.
On first launch the app downloads the translation model you choose (~650 MB – 1.4 GB) straight from Hugging Face — after that it works fully offline.
Windows SmartScreen may warn about an unsigned app: click More info → Run anyway.
If the translator fails to load, install the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable.
Prefer Python? pip install "lingolay[all] @ git+https://github.com/keremss7/lingolay" and run lingolay.
💛 Lingolay is free and ad-free. If it helps you, consider supporting it on GitHub Sponsors.
