Amazon - Adding Metadata Tag v1.6.1
Amazon - Adding Metadata Tag v1.6.1
This release adds safer, more flexible media review and update notifications.
Highlights
- Seller SKU folders are optional. Files without an SKU appear under No SKU.
- Recognized video containers remain in the Media queue. MP4, MOV, M4V, QT, 3GP/3G2, F4V, LRV, MQV, and 360 can be safely tagged and re-verified; unsupported containers remain visible with a conversion/remux warning.
- Startup, file-identity, backup, rollback, crash-recovery, and close-safety protections were strengthened.
- The app now shows a localized update indicator and checks the public GitHub Releases endpoint. It never uploads media or installs updates automatically.
- English, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese UI support remains included.
- Windows installers offer an optional Start Menu shortcut choice.
Human verification required
Always watch videos fully, review every file, verify the exact XMP dc:subject tag locally, check the latest applicable Amazon requirements, and make the final Seller Central upload decision yourself. This independent tool is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with Amazon.
