betterBit v5.2.3 — macOS arm64

Pre-built app bundle for Apple Silicon Macs. Drag betterBit.app to Applications.

Requires macOS 13 Ventura or later.

What's new

  • Rebased onto qBittorrent 5.2.3 — upstream bugfixes: stricter peer-address parsing, fixed Web Seed encoding, RSS interval fix, tracker-conversion fix, WebUI CSS-selector escaping, and translation updates
  • New Matrix rain theme/effect
  • Two new search plugins: Sukebei and PornBay (20 engines total)

What's included

  • All custom UX improvements (relative timestamps, stalled-for column, clean name, ratio bar, free space warning, smoother ETA, auto-category by tracker, duplicate detection, file types column, download duration, smart rename)
  • WebTorrent / WebRTC peer support (libtorrent v2.1.0)
  • 20 search engine plugins pre-installed, search tab open by default
  • Catppuccin Mocha + Cyberpunk + Matrix themes bundled

Install

  1. Download betterBit-v5.2.3-macos-arm64.dmg
  2. Open the DMG and drag betterBit to Applications
  3. Right-click → Open on first launch (unsigned build)

  • 18 search engine plugins pre-installed, search tab open by default
  • Catppuccin Mocha + Cyberpunk themes bundled
  • Search bar cleaned up — Seeds/Size filters hidden, clean interface out of the box
  • Quality filter — optional 480p/720p/1080p/4K search filter (enable in Options → Search UI)
  • Library tab — main tab renamed from "Transfers" to "Library" across desktop and web UI

Install
