GitHub Legacy 1.0

GitHub Legacy 1.0

A lightweight native GitHub client for iOS 6–10: repositories, READMEs, issues, pull requests, commits, and releases — without Safari, and without the official app, which no longer runs on these versions.

Features

• Browse repositories, explore trending projects, and search by name, topic, or user
• View rendered READMEs, issues, pull requests, and full commit history
• Download release assets directly on-device (.deb, .ipa, source archives, etc.)
• Star repositories and follow users, with a dedicated tab for starred-repo release news
• Light and dark themes, with an in-app English/Russian language switch

Install

.deb — for jailbroken devices:

1. Download .deb below.
2. Install via iFile, Filza or dpkg -i.

.ipa — regular sandboxed app, no jailbreak required:

1. Download .ipa below.
2. Sideload it with your tool of choice (AltStore, Sideloadly, etc.).

On some iOS 10.x devices, Filza can crash while installing the .ipa. If that happens, use the .deb instead, or another sideloading tool.

See the README (Русский) for more details.
