• Autostart is now more reliable: switched to a Scheduled Task that automatically retries if the first launch at sign-in fails, and no longer gets killed after 3 days of uptime
• Hijri calendar: tap a date to see a card with its Hijri/Gregorian date, weekday, and any events
• Dua and Qur'an: added a font size +/- control (and Ctrl+=/Ctrl+- shortcuts) for the Arabic text
• The interface font now automatically sizes itself to your screen on first launch, with a manual +/- option in Settings
• Update: fixed a misleading "no internet connection" message on the Dua & Hadith page (that feature never needs internet) and added a Retry button for when it fails to load

Voice Clock audio fixes (Bangla):

• 11 o'clock previously announced the wrong word entirely -- the source recording never actually contained the number 11 in its sequence. Re-extracted the correct word from elsewhere in the recording.
• The evening period clip had a stray extra word stuck onto the front -- trimmed to just the correct word.

New default fonts:

• Interface font now defaults to SolaimanLipi, a classic and widely-used Bangla font (still changeable in Settings).
• Arabic-script font (Qur'an, Azkar, Dua) now defaults to Al Majeed Quranic Font, a traditional Mushaf-style rendering (still changeable in Settings).

MuslimDesk v1.0.6

• Reverted the self-copying install behavior. The previous release copied itself to a stable per-user folder on first run; this pattern is exactly what antivirus heuristics and automated scanners flag as suspicious persistence behavior, and it caused real false-positive flags. Back to a plain portable package: run it from wherever you saved it, no copying, no relocation.
• Still included: registers to start with Windows, adds a proper entry under Settings > Apps > Installed apps with a working Uninstall action (removes the registry entries and shortcuts, leaves the package file itself for you to delete), Start Menu / Desktop shortcuts, and a single-instance guard (opening it again just brings the existing window forward instead of running a duplicate).
• New: the Azan notification window now has a volume slider that only affects the current Azan playback -- the next Azan always starts back at your configured volume.

• Fixed: the Bangla Voice Clock cut off after saying only "এখন সময়" instead of the full announcement. The bundled word clips are 8-bit PCM audio, which some Windows media backends don't decode reliably past the first chunk -- now converted to 16-bit PCM (universally supported) before playback.
• New: a separate "Interface font" picker in Settings (Hind Siliguri, Noto Serif Bengali, or any font installed on your system) that changes the font used throughout the whole app -- distinct from the existing Arabic font picker, which only affects Quran/Azkar/Dua Arabic-script text.

• Installs to a stable location on first run -- copies itself to %LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\MuslimDesk and relaunches from there. Auto-start, shortcuts, and Apps & Features now point at this stable copy, so the file you originally downloaded (e.g. in Downloads) can be safely deleted afterwards. Uninstall now also removes this installed copy.
• Single-instance guard -- opening the app a second time (e.g. double-clicking the desktop icon while it's already running in the tray) now just brings the existing window to the front, instead of running a second full instance.
• Tasbih counter now also responds to the Space key, not just clicking -- a hint under the counter explains both ways to count.

MuslimDesk v1.0.2

Adds a real uninstall path. Since the app deliberately has no tray Exit
option (it needs to keep running to fire prayer-time reminders), there
was previously no discoverable way to stop it short of Task Manager and
manual registry cleanup.

MuslimDesk now registers itself in Settings → Apps → Installed apps
on first run, with a Start Menu and Desktop shortcut, and its Uninstall
action there properly removes the auto-start registry entry, the Apps &
Features entry, and both shortcuts.
