Jeliya v0.6.0 — Evidence-Backed Technical Preview

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 16 Jul 22:48
2283a44

jeliyad is the Jeliya peer-to-peer daemon with the verified web UI embedded.

This technical preview intentionally publishes the daemon archives only. Native mobile and desktop packages remain unpublished until their platform gates are fully satisfied.

Each archive has a .sha256 sidecar. The official Unix and Windows installers download and verify that checksum before extracting anything.

This release is intentionally marked as a prerelease, so the installers' unpinned latest path continues to select the latest stable release. Install this preview explicitly:

curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/kortiene/jeliya/v0.6.0/packaging/install.sh | JELIYA_VERSION=v0.6.0 sh
$env:JELIYA_VERSION = 'v0.6.0'

v0.2.0

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 05 Jul 16:46

Bantaba v0.2.0

This release focuses on making Bantaba easier to install, easier to understand, and much smoother to use on desktop and mobile.

Highlights

  • Beginner-friendly README with install paths, glossary, first-room tour, and troubleshooting.
  • Mobile layout fixes: safe-area support, dynamic viewport height, larger touch targets, 16px mobile inputs, and reduced horizontal overflow.
  • Redesigned Files panel with summary cards, clearer availability language, and honest self-shared-file states.
  • New browser file picker sharing flow: choose a local file, preview name/size/type, then share it through a local daemon upload/import endpoint.
  • New Members tab showing the room roster, roles, statuses, and “this device” marker.
  • Fixed right-panel tab clipping after adding Members.
  • Fixed desktop Home and Settings navigation so both actions visibly switch views.
  • Version bump: bantabad --version and daemon.status.version now report 0.2.0.

Distribution

The release includes unsigned binaries for macOS, Linux musl, and Windows, plus .sha256 sidecars for every archive.

Install with Homebrew:

brew install kortiene/bantaba/bantaba

Or with the install script:

curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/kortiene/bantaba/main/packaging/install.sh | sh

Pin this release with:

BANTABA_VERSION=v0.2.0 sh packaging/install.sh

Notes

Artifacts are still unsigned. Browser-downloaded macOS/Windows binaries may trigger Gatekeeper or SmartScreen; Homebrew and curl | sh install paths avoid the browser quarantine bit.
