Rules can run a command, and a rule that misfires switches itself off.

• Run a command: a new rule action runs a command line through your login
  shell, so tools installed with Homebrew are found. Its exit code and any
  error go to the daily log. The command runs without Hammerdeck's privacy
  permissions: it cannot reach what Full Disk Access, Accessibility or
  Automation let Hammerdeck reach.
• Risky actions -- locking the screen, emptying the Trash, running a command
  -- are marked, and adding one asks first. If a risky rule fires on its own
  5 times within 2 minutes, it is switched off before the fifth run and a
  notification says why. Hold Option while Hammerdeck starts to pause every
  rule for that session.
• Building a rule walks you through it: each pick opens the next field.
• The window panels -- Window Grid, Window Mode, and Window Deck's and Window
  Fan's controls and pickers -- are sized to the screen they are on, so they
  read at a glance on a big display.

Also:

• App Launcher says why macOS refused to open an app (for example, an Xcode
  too old for this macOS) instead of calling it gone.
• A crash report counts your features instead of saying "0 enabled of 0".
